yep pretty much, although it can have an effect on the gamer as well depending on the game, say vrchat for example or rec room.

i think the main argument here people have is that when someone plays a game they dont noticed the ads
but boy oh boy has gaming changed, aside from esports a lot that is done inside gaming is not really demanding a lot of attention, for example crafting or fishing, now to add to that the social games like sims which is a simulation, it was insanely popular. so imo all bidstack needs to do is find the perfect games where to place ads and in perfect places, racing sort of works, because those 10 seconds you wait for the lights to go on those might be the best moment to put ads in.
i think its fairly easy to place ads in open world games into places where you know the player is gonna be...

so we got 300k for 4months of football manager
lets say one year 1mil
with dirt 2.0 assuming same revenue at least thats 2mil per year add sociable soccer 3mil and a fourth game which is not announced we get 4mil per year
of course actual numbers would be different as they depend largely on how many people play the game so i dont see how it is actually a problem to get 6mil in revenues unless they get no deals whatsoever anymore

ea is a great example of that, but smaller companies dont have that opportunity one thing is to build the ads in the game the other is to use the likes of pubmatic and allow the ads to be removed and added without releasing an update, which is what bids is essentially allowing...
free to play games rely on either ads or on the assumption that people will pay for stuff inside the game.
i am curious though with bids lining up the advertisers and publishers, which is easier to do all that work and pay your staff to find the advertisers or to just use what bids offers..what is more costly?

vr rec room is where bidstack would really excel, the whole purpose of rec room is for people to socialize..

the publisher of their game for example "china mobile" has over 106billion in revenues
so might be a long shot, but if it works well with sociable soccer i cant see why they wouldnt want to use out tech on their other games.. worth mentioning there are many people in talks with the company and vr has come up many times..so i am personally looking forward to that.

looks like china are really into vr they have opened a vr amusement park
and its not a small one either, the title seems wrong and they have corrected it but 470mil us dollars have been spent building it
