Joe, Your doing Great, The first part of doing great is realising that you need to do something about your weight and i can see that you have done something about it by not drinking all those cans of soft drinks and chocolate bars.
I know how hard it is to loose weight, in fact i am just back from my walk but mixed in with a little running and jogging.
Last November i came up with my own weight loss plan.
Get out of bed and right out for a fast 3 mile walk, no breakfast and on my return a full glass of tomato juice and Tabasco drops before going for a shower, Dinner time, a tin of sardines and 2 boiled eggs, snack food i eat dried dates and then evening meal, diced chicken breast, i full garlic bulb, 1 big onion tin of Butter beans or kidney beans with lots of spices to make what ever taste you want. I don't eat bread, rare that i eat chips, never eat burgers but i would allow myself a treat now and again, since i got down to 14 stone from 17th, i am more relaxed on what i eat, but still eating low calorie food, like the Go biscuits.
I guess i am going to have to do more, but Joe, you have done well to get to 14 stone.
Maybe you need to buy a dog!!!
I worked in the food industry for over 30 years for dairy crest mainly making cheese, I was a cheese maker for 20 years until i went into management, one over you used to be able to buy big blocks of cheese from the supermarket for a pound, it wasn't full of fat, but full of water, Water is free and if they can add 2% more water to a product, then that 2% for nothing. Regards fat, you need fat in cheese but its only tyhe fat that comes in the milk and its not added fat.
Maybe we should go on a mission and see who can get down to 13 stone first ;-)
My sister who will be 60 next month was also 17 stone and she will have lost 4 stone in over a year, The only issue is the excess fat, You should be able to get stomach tucks Free, Luckily i am OK, but people should be rewarded with cosmetic stuff if they have lost the weight because if we don't, Not only will we be unhealthy but we will be a cost to the NHS.
Yesterday the rain was slashing it down, Today is over cast but mild. The walk i do is great. Might try sometime to put a photo on here.
