I get frustrated watching Shell share price drop most days at the time the US markets open, 2% today, Any reason for this ?

BPC's various Enhanced Oil Recovery ("EOR") projects have been progressed in the past three months, consistent with the overall strategy of increasing production on a sustainable basis. In particular:

· The CO2 EOR Pilot project at the Inniss-Trinity block is now ready to enter Phase 3 of the pilot program. Final approvals necessary in order to produce oil from the AT-5X well have been obtained from all applicable regulatory authorities in Trinidad and Tobago, and it is expected that this activity will commence imminently, with a view to monitoring production and the potential production gains resulting from the CO2 injection; and

· At the Goudron field, BPC has reviewed and prepared the technical and environmental reports necessary to begin the planned waterflood project. Once approved, the project plan includes up to twelve phases of injection across the field to improve the reservoir pressure, and subsequently measuring the impact on oil production

While Apollo put forward a proposal before Caesars, it is yet to follow up with a concrete offer. However should this be accepted, William Hill would lose US market access, with Caesars saying in its bid that it would cancel its joint venture with the operator if Apollo’s bid was selected.

This deadline may be extended with the consent of the Panel on Takeovers and Mergers (the "Panel") in accordance with Rule 2.6(c) of the Code.

The question is, Who has extended the deadline, Someone must have asked???

So this is now going up to the wire that Apollo can still bid for WMH, Apollo must, by 5.00 pm on 12 November 2020. I believe that Apollo are still going to make a bid and need the extra time which is days before the Vote.

Has anyone seen him this year??? says a lot. I am in Prd and even the CEO gives out updates even when their is no news, but he is updating the share holders on where we are at and what to expect.
this is one of the most shady companies in my PF. feel sorry for the investors who are to deep in this wondering if they will ever see there money again,

Any long term investor is not in the slightest on what others are posting unless they have a health issue like the 3 Ms did. Your always positive and you get on with other long term holder's, I am more concerned about these stupid adverts popping up on lse chat. Good luck, no need to explain

I am in the same boat, But for me , Its worth the risk holding on, Its what would i be most gutted about, Missing out on a higher offer, or taking 272, Or if no higher bid, Waiting to see what the future holds, The Shares are in my SIPP, So cannot spend the money even if i wanted to unless i pay tax

What are we expecting in the coming weeks before the vote , Its clear now that Apollo isn't going to place a offer since time is up.
I personally think many people will be hoping that the offer is voted down and hoping for a better offer. Hastings declined the first offer before the company was happy for it to go to a vote , Our issue is WMH saying that their happy with the offer.
I strongly believe that the offer will NOT be accepted and if it isn't, Will people buy in hoping for a better offer or a sell off , Don't forget a lot of PIs have already sold out

one thing for sure Market makers were in charge after the placing and holding up the SP above 4p to allow the city boys to sell at a profit...

so at 09:30, More buys than sells and the share price is down

Regards the 12 hour shifts, having 20 stocks in my pf can be very stressful and more stressful than my last job, but I did have a stroke in 2014 the year after retiring and I will tell you, if you get the chance to retire early, do it, you never know what is round the corner. Lots of people never see retirement and yes.

Welcome to early retirement, I spent 31 years at the same place from manual work and ended up in management, retired at 53 years old, Now 59.
I used to dabble in shares while i was working , But gave up due to 12 hour shifts, Started investing again for a hobby, What a hobby, I would rather be working 12 hour shifts again... I have a decent amount in Prd, But not loads, enough to make me well off once Paul delivers. I have worked it out how much i need to have a decent life and that money is not invested, So paul will give me a lifestyle that i could only dream about.
Bought in only for EOR, Morocco and Ireland will give me that perfect retirement, If not , I will still have a decent life.

Just waiting for news flow, One thing that stood out from pauls last interview, He does not want anymore Dilution and thats good to hear , A bit of money coming from Trinidad and the drill is fully funded, Just need morocco to give the go ahead to allow the drilling crew in.
