The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Sorry to disappoint but imo there will be no operations during April.
Sand jet spread not due into morocco earliest mid April, along with CT unit late April. As advised by our CEO, customs clearance, mob, rig up, acceptance checks will take very minimum of 2-3 weeks imo.
Chariot should be announcing mobilisation the rig to 1st of their Loukos wells next week in a 2 well deep drill programme including testing, that will take 50-60 days combined.
IMO we commence SJ ops mid May at the earliest and get the SV 101 very late May. lets see.
The only opinion you need when investing is your own , if your basing investment decisions of by other opinions, more times than not , good bye to all or most of your capital. if your opinion is firm based on what you read and believe from the people you only want to read and believe, thats fine … I never asked you to listen to my opinion. I hold stock here and i hope to make money , however I do not ramp here and what I am seeing , the hyper-ramping via a proxy all ad verbatim like some guru type demi god , is one of the most bizarre things I have witnessed on a share forum.
The CEO said himself in the PI Interview, that the sandjet spread would not arrive into Morocco until mid April, like any african country i would assume customs clearance for temporary import equipment will take the normal 2-4 weeks ..the spread then has to be mobilised, rigged up and audited, say another 10 days , we cannot well test until the well is flowing. We cannot flow the well unless the sand jetting pumping clears out the debris. Do you see timelines different ?
Rigless testing is not expected to commence until mid to late May at the earliest . The specialised perforating equipment will only arrive in morooco mid to late april and that is still not 100% confirmed. Rigless testing will only happen if we can get the wellbore problems sorted out and connectivity to flowing HC`s with the sandjet pumping spread. No idea when MOU 5 will be drilled, think we are still waiting the permits.
Right….. and of course countries will always import more expensive LNG and totally rely on that in a world with a forever changing geo political climate , rather developing their own gas reserves. …LNG carriers also have a set life period, far less so than bulk crude carriers due to the massive high pressure infrastructure on them , always do your own research …
As per jimmy, Vivo energy chariots onshore mid /downstream partner and one of Morocco`s biggest suppliers of gas to industry will play a pivotal role in Loukos development.
Loukos development FID capex requirement for circa 10-15mmcfd per day should be in region of $20mm for CNG .
Morning Gooner, dont disagree with anything there.. you will note thought that majors and large independents never issue detailed timelines, they know the nature of the business and the multiples of variables dictate hugely on timing. The best you will actually get out of majority of those is using yearly timelines quoting the year ……I do actually have a certain amount of sympathy for the boards of small aimer`s like us whose shareholders want/demand to know timelines by the month or week .
We have been not been great in the past but so many things out of our control, we can improve though, I think we will.
Gooner, you go on and on and on.. like a stuck record.
it would be good if perhaps you could reset and base future events on the real start of chariots gas journey , which is now.
Missing timelines by a week or 2 or 3 is completely irrelevant going forward as the real journey starts and only concerns traders.
