Only 43% of shareholders have been identified so far - even if the board recommended to accept an offer would they have to open the vote up to all shareholders to get 50% approval? Or would a bidder have to accumulate enough of a stake to win the vote?

I’m reading it as someone has done a deal to borrow his 200k shares and is building a position without having to declare it because it’s still under Candys name

In 2021 AAQUA thought they had 52% of the vote so must have and Candy and Co onside - this time round any bidder would suss out Candy/Tobin and co first

I understand it that he has hedged 200k shares and when the hedge expires if the share price is higher at that time he gets a pay out or if it is lower he has to pay out

Sounds like he is gambling share price will go higher or depends what the strike is

Obviously sells marks as buys and delayed sells still to be posted
