Think about it this way, would a person of his stature/influence allow some random account holder to mimic him, have his picture as an avatar and post about detail regarding EUA and associated minerals without being aware they could for example compromise the deal and NDA with the easiest of false tweet?

As you keep saying, however IMO if they have spent 2 years over a deal for over 75% of their current assets Monch & flanks, WK & flanks & NYUD for a 50p dividend approx $2 billion then I would very much doubt we would be spending 2 years on such a deal in the first place?

Nice thought however I think the market will 'take care' of the shorters and not in the way you state they will be given a get out window.
Also think many shorts are hedges hence via ii's and likely get the nod near the time, equally cynical view point but nothing I have observed in my years on the market has convinced me it is a level playing field?
