In my view the market is doing exactly what it always does. The first big rise in wishbone gold was accompanied by a lot of noise across socials and bulletin boards for both wishbone gold specifically and for gold itself. That always leads to a headless chicken mob of investorss/traders piling in and then bailing out without them realising they are being manipulated by the market itself. It is the subsequent rise that has more substance and longevity behind it, and usually happens somewhat off radar as the initial week holding private investors have been scared away and the more savvy long-term experienced investors literally hold for gold. They then potentially enjoy a significant multi bag rerate, while the original now loss-making punters watch with dismay as the share price rockets past the initial spike which either they didn't sell at or got caught on.

Based on that things look rather good for wishbone gold at the moment.

As we announced in December, following a heritage survey, work is now well underway on the construction of a new access road between Red Setter and Cyprium Metals' Nifty Copper Mine which is only 50km away. Once completed the new road will allow additional services for Wishbone, and better access to Nifty provides the potential availability of accommodation, fuel, water and the use of the Nifty all weather airport and scheduled flights for worker roster changes. The new road will allow Wishbone a far simpler yet more expansive exploration drilling program in 2026 and provides considerable cost savings.

Interesting. HL, LSE both saying around £240k MCAP. London Stock Exchange and their own website saying £2.4m .

Took a small punt today. Have been watching and today’s news is IMO significant. AI seems to concur:

Long may they both hold. SIgns are v positive for a substantial rerate on new drill results.

Am I correct in thinking that as the new drill campaign is at much shallowwer depths, then the pay-dirt level is also potentially much more accessbile ie easier and cheaer to mine? What's not to like? (and now the RP and DL critics are lining up with their two pennies worth!)

This appears to be a very good appointment.

Gold climbing again, drill campaign imminent, share price retraced.

If so inclined, I would suggest that now is the best time to take a punt on WSBN. Downside significantly reduced, and upside significantly increased. And this will play out in a few months. Of course, it’s a gamble and you could lose the lot but as a gamble the odds are, in my opinion, more favourable now. If you wait for further news any upward price movement may already have started. I originally purchased just a wee bit higher last year (yes, I should have sliced but got distracted by life events) so am holding to see what happens over the next few months.

In my opinion having a lawyer at the helm of the company can be very obstructive to progress. Due to the way they legally view any transaction the often kill off the potential for any deal to progress by introducing legal roadblocks before it's even had a chance to start healthy negotiation. With a fresh can-do, real-world approach to deal making Richard Jennings has every chance of making a big impact. Get legal supporting the deals and not trying to make the deals.

And reading about Dr. Johan Hattingh, Proposed Executive Director (Technical Director), I am very reassured that there's highly experienced boots on the ground with an in-depth understanding of the company and it's business.

I absolutely effing hate AIM and small cap. Ive been planning on getting out of this abusive market but took my eye off the ball due to seriously health distractions. My SIPP looked relatively healthy last year, now it's a 💩 show. Of course, no-one to blame but myself, and should have exited regardless of the "jam tomorrow". Fingers crossed that Mr Jennings can unlock some meaningful shareholder value.
