DA why no numbers or even metrics like sales have increased period on period by xxx% to give investors some real numerical insight into the growth rate that is being achieved.

We should know how well DA is performing when accounts arrive and the valuation is updated in a months time assuming it is not sold for a huge sum by then.

A big cause of the headline loss on the sale of the mortgages is loss of discount that occurs on insurance liabilities as replacement assets are likely to have a much lower yield to maturity. LTM are illiquid assets, are subjective to value but if you have enough capital to hold them like Rothesay they are a desirable asset. Just issue is that it has too large a proportion of this class of asset which was spooking the regulator.

Looking at historic share prices especially those over 20 years ago is stupid. The world and Aviva business has changed massively over that time.

Aviva has done the easy lifting so far i.e. selling off about half the group. The really hard yards are about transforming large businesses in mature markets. I have held and sold Aviva before and got back in at £2.80 in Sept 2020. I reckon they will get to 75% of SII net assets if we are lucky. I will hold for dividend yield with share price supported by buy backs and return of capital.

I don’t think a takeover or break up is likely in near term as Aviva is now in primarily mature lower growth markets with fierce competition.

Culmer is sharp and understand insurance business in detail so for me it’s a strong positive.

Brightly I doubt that share price will get to £2 any time soon, look at Lgen, Aviva which are dividends payers but trade below NAV but discount to NAV should reduce. The Tier 1 sub notes should further boost capital position.

Once we get full year numbers and hopefully cash and profit recognised on remaining disposals Aviva strengths will be even clearer.

Aviva has a long way to go I suspect in terms of being a class leading insurance like Admiral. It will be a long haul because Aviva has been trying to reduce costs for past 15 years but hopefully smaller portfolio of business will increase focus. They should scale back Aviva Head Office like Prudential as group scale has reduced.

I suspect Aviva Sing stake will be sold at some stage as well as India and China jvs will be realised as well but selling jvs is much harder than 100% stakes.

The brand and territory extensions provide me with assurance that existing partners see enough potential in products and sales to increase their exposure to Opti products.

I think in the past people were expecting hockey stick growth but constant growth at H1 rates will soon see us into profitability.

Best of all if people like products Opti will get constant sales we don’t need to capture new customers every day to make sales.

As an investor slightly concerned that HL is not controlling costs as effectively as it should as costs increasing faster than recurring revenues.

Growth in numbers, fum and client retention still pretty strong.

New initiatives like the cash ISA should help the business as well

Guitarman. I think that purchase of Tradeflow was a very clever move by AZ.

TF added two highly credible directors to Board and their 3 year audited track record of performance via their managed funds with consistent returns on low volatility which is key to the new fund raise.

Tradeflow model is proven and scaleable.

Without Tradeflow today’s deal would not have happened as it is clear that it is Tradeflow who are managing these funds.

Guitarman You do know that asset managers and hedge funds are valued at percentage of funds under management say 2% to 4% and not at the value of funds managed?

Tradeflow charges 2% of FUM plus I recall 20% of outperformance over benchmark.

So the basic fee at 2% of $40 million would be $800,000.

The explanation is that GH Bank gave up its FCA Authorised, the majority of Directors resigned and it closed down as a bank. The last two Directors will wind down the company’s remaining activities.

GH Vive changed its name from GH Bank because only authorised banks can use the word bank in their name.

If you bothered to look at the FCA Register you will see that GH Bank is no longer authorised by the FCA and if you search under FCA Sensitive Names you will see point about use of bank in company names.

Bull’s airbrushed cv left out one of his more recent roles namely that as CFO of PCF Group Plc.

PCF shares are currently suspended as they try and sort a financial mess which arose in their finance function - see their RNS of 28 June 2021 which provides more details.

SYME said on 22 July that a search was underway with a professional search firm and a mere two weeks later they give the job to their brand new Board Director appointed on same day of announcement with a huge question mark hanging over his recent performance.

A red flag for me.

Revenue continues to grow, cynics will say it’s only 44% but revenue continues to build with good margins pushing company towards profitability ex Skin Bio stake.. Big gain to be reflected as regards SlkinBio in interim numbers.

More positive is the further territory and partner expansion including China.

Finally product pipeline looks to have some exciting prospects.

Will continue to hold stake, may even top up some more shares depending on price reaction.

There should have been an RNS on this arrangement.

Loans against single stocks by Directors and PMDRs are required to be disclosed.

I suspect that SYME will be issuing an RNS at some stage and the fully story will emerge.

Today’s news of contracts won by other companies are great news for CTEA because ….

1) CTEA’s market cap is only £3 million
2) I already hold shares and hope to generate a spike based on fake news and then make some money

CTEA’s market cap is low for a reason namely absence of success as a business.

I see that nbul1 is backing to claiming a 20 p price target based on such ramping. LOL
