It is sensible at 100% to take your money and have a free run. 100% from here I believe will be easily breached over the coming month or two at which stage we will have new investors looking for the next multi-bagger and so on. UJO is no different to any good, profit making company and it's value will be reflected in its performance, it will move up in stages to a pound I am sure.

The audited accounts will soon be out too, they will surely be considerably more robust than at any other time in the company history. It has nothing to do with being honourable. There are almost certainly data protection issues here and once the information is passed to the relevant authorities, the company would be in no position to start releasing information. My belief is that the investigation has been concluded, a number of people of interest have been identified and contacted, others reported to AIM or the FSA etc. I really cannot understand your repetitive requests for information when it is quite clear that we have had no leaks, that a number of people have disappeared from the bb and the company is now doing so well in terms of revenues, assets and now the go ahead for West Newton. Surely, if you are actually invested, now may be the time to support the company and trust they have done what was asked of them?

The 'Leak Enquiry' will be confidential in that the content eill be sent on to the relevant authorities. Have you not noticed, a number of RNS's have been released and no leaks? Have you noticed a few 'missing persons' off this bb? Have you noticed each and every RNS this year has been positive? The investigation has likely been completed and the information passed on. the company are in a no different position if it is refused to where they are now. The initial refusal was taken as it being the end of the West Newton project until an appeal was submitted. The position tomorrow on refusal will be the same.

Of course, if the application is passed, all the excitement will be back with Union Jack having 16.66% of the biggest discovery in 50 years, the new data has made the project more operationally viable and there will either be a substantial revenue stream promised or a sizeable pay off.

For all the slaughtering the company and its management get on here, I see the careful percentage increases in Wressle over the past few years has been a very shrewd or possibly lucky move in that it has not only brought the company into profitability, it has secured the future and omitted the need for any further placings making it a lot safer as an investment.

If the Divi goes ahead, as I think it will, this will attract institutional interest too.

The future here is now extremely positive and all the bad mouthing and ill feeling will not change that.

Any investment on AIM is risky, but Union Jack is now a lot less risky than most however you cut it!

Yesterdays outcome, although not as hoped, has little impact on UJO. It was a prospect that probably wouldnt have been started this year anyway, there are other more important, easy revenue bearing assets that would be prioritised. Egdon fecked up trying to postpone the operations one time to many and the councillors basically said enough's enough. This ruling has no bearing on Thursdays meeting which is to pass or not to pass an application to develop the biggest discovery in 50 years and apart from a concern over the width of the road, confirmation of no fracking and can we keep the trees, there were no strong arguments for refusal. We are in a different position now. The last meeting was right on top of COP26, everyone thinking the days of oil and gas were over. Now it is totally opposite, it is heavily back in favour and any council that turns an application down of national importance, going against their planning officers recommendations and the country's needs, will be vilified. I personally expect a favourable outcome on this occasion.

It was nearly passed originally, the plans have now been amended to address one councillors concerns. In addition to this, the scenery has changed. No longer save the planet, now it's save poor and elderly and that will include the residents of East Riding.

I believe they will pass this planning application with the yet again recommendation of their own planning officers.

Would you honestly turn down the biggest oil and gas discovery in 50 years, against your own planning officer, when you also know an appeal could cost over half a million pounds? They will have taken professional advice on this and will be fully aware of the repercussions of refusal.

A refusal will not be in their community interest or in the national interest.

I think the chances of approval now outweigh a refusal.

need to keep mentioning fracking on here. There is nothing in the application to suggest it will be part of the operation and it is the content of that which is to be considered. Any additional requirements on the drilling would be applied for as and when.

Exciting week ahead for shareholders with two planning applications up for consideration. North Kelsey is only a continuation so I cannot see that being refused, especially as the delays are noted as Covid related. West Newton of course is the big one. Previously declined after their own planners recommended approval, at the time it fell smack bang on top of COP26. This time is is being heard during a fuel and energy crisis, a time when the whole UK population are about to be hit with massive increases in their utility bills and here's West Newton, sat on most of the answers. Will the application be refused? Will this councillors commit political Hara-Kiri? This time the country is on their backs, not the people who want us back in the stone age!

The planning hearing will not be considering anything other than granting or refusing a conventional oil recovery plan. It should, in my opinion, be granted as not only are the government under pressure to look at extracting our own hydrocarbons, the people of the UK are also under financial pressure. The councillors would be fools to refuse this application.

My guess is that the moratorium will either be lifted or modified to include stricter monitoring, maybe a lesser pressure or similar.

Whilst UJO don't have any fracking interests, Egdon Resources have many and should their finances be bolstered, then it won't be a bad thing for their JV's with Union Jack which could likely be expedited.

A lift on fracking would also seriously enforce the government support for onshore oil and gas as a whole, another green light for planning applications.

West Newton holds the biggest discovery for 50 years and needs to be exploited now. Those councillors, if they now went against their planning department recommendations would in effect be supporting Putin by going against government ideals.

Things are seriously looking up for Union Jack, 2022 look like its going to be one hell of a year.

Next week is the planning meet for West Newton, planning officers recommending it, Rathlin have amended the application to address the concerns of councillors and the government have done a full about turn on their push to move away from Oil and Gas. I really cannot see it being refused this time, especially as an appeal would run to over £500k in costs. If passed, there is a significant discovery to be realised, one which is big enough to be of national interest and one that will attract the interest of a major. I would expect a few eyes are on the outcome next week. For Union Jack, this will be massive news, not only in the potential production potential but in the likely sale of this asset.

It would seem the expected long term flow rate at Wressle will be between 750-1000 bood with present storage and with an average of 450 barrels to Union Jack, revenues will set this great little company up for a long time, ensuring no placings.

Few AIM companies are in this position of being profitable, debt free and have so many near term revenue generating assets. Keddington alone could easily add 150 bopd+ .

Throw in a nice Divi and share buyback and this is going on a one way trip to the moon!

Months and months of negative posting, tripe and trash every day, abuse and unpleasantness, couldn't bring myself to post on here. But the battle has turned, the people who have done their best to drag down sentiment are now on the back foot. Government outlook changing, a big swing to oil and gas positivity. Hopefully the atmosphere on here will change now and as the company value increases, new investors will start contributing more positively. Everything fo go for now with the future of this company.
