DB and J'oF left for a reason and it wasn't because the company was going to the dogs imo, more that they were not happy with what was materialising. You don't immediately resign for nothing. The company embarked on a path that was not in the interests of the shareholders and DB was gone by then. My opinion is he and Joe got out before they were about to be involved in what transpired, so, RNSTrans, are you "pis*sed off Pete" of Share*prophets fame?

Hardly a failed company. I would be looking a lot closer at the new board instead of trying to pin what happened afterwards on DB.

I would suggest you checked your dates and work out when DB left Nighthawk, what their financial position was when he left and how long it took for them afterwards to screw up a fantastic deal and ruin themselves financially. DB left the company in good form. It is a fallacy to believe anything else and this is brought up many times by people who are either trying to add to the attack on the man or by people who listen to incorrect claptrap and repeat it.

We all build opinions of people on here based on our own take on our investments. We tend to automatically dislike and respond accordingly to opposing views. Because we are all anonymous, things are said aggressively and in real life, most would never talk to each other like this face to face. I would not defend my investment here if I couldn't see the bigger picture. There has, in my opinion, been a targeted attack on the company and the executive chairman for the past year or more. The leaks are, in my opinion, solely down to the brokers and they need to go. Common sense dictates the management are not leaking the info. It is crippling the company and as shareholders themselves, no feasible reason to do so. Joe O'Farrel is down substantially on his last share purchase and in fact, probably all of his placing purchases, as is DB and the rest of the board. The stock has been traded, pumped and dumped and manipulated by the likes of Winnifrith and others. On this basis, I am grateful an investigation is being done, I believe the company value will be revalued as confirmation of stabilised, Wressle oil flow and longevity is released and for those reasons I remain positive.

I think you've lost the plot Micky. I have one avatar on the LSE, I couldn't be bothered with swapping and changing, why would I? I can get my opinion across perfectly well without having it falsely backed up by myself. There are certainly posters on here using multiple avatars, I however am not part of it. There's no doubt Brailey and Winnifrith are working together in an attempt to trash the company and it's board. The article by Brailey is shameful and certainly not professional by any standard of journalism.

These are people who delve into people's lives and their companies, getting information by dubious means and quite obviously don't like it 'up em'.

Shareholders wanted David Bramhill to instigate an investigation into how these leaks came about and anyone suspected of being involved in it was open to scrutiny. Winnifrith and Brailey are high on the suspect list, Winnifrith releasing details of a market sounding and Brailey potentially using the bulletin boards to back him up.

In all honesty, I cannot understand why they are so shocked at themselves being looked at, Winnifrith for one has cost shareholders dearly and continues to hammer the company, stating it is the 'most toxic company on AIM'. My question to that is "who caused this initially and who is continuing to make it toxic"? The answer is the two people named earlier. How can a company that is producing a decent quantity of oil and generating in the region of $500,000 cash monthly be toxic? Few companies on AIM are as well funded, debt free and generating this level of cash.

Winnifrith and Brailey should be ashamed of their actions, however, they make their wages from producing rubbish like the article today, wouldn't want the kiddies starving.

Interestingly, it would appear few people agree with their viewpoint so it will be beans on toast for a while!

Brailey was outed as a liar regarding his LSE account by Brokermandan, said he didn't have one then admitted he did. He's got it in for DB and not just because he is one of the subjects of the investigation because he was gunning for him a few months ago. Is he RNStranslator I wonder?

This is Toms idea of a 'journalist' and the sort of crap he thinks people will pay £5.99 for? People were demanding an investigation into how the leaks happened, shareholders requested DB try and deal with the so called investors trashing the company on social media. This would quite obviously require examination of people like Brailey who has recently written some shi*tty articles in alignment with Winnifrith. The placing was leaked out by him so only right there should be a close eye on them. Winnifrith has been targeting the company since the day he dropped the placing news and no doubt a few people on here are working to help him. I bet he will be buying in soon when its confirmed the flow rates are maintained and the CPR is released. If we are talking sc*um then these two really do fit the bill.

is that of the three JV partners involved in Wressle, Union Jack are getting the biggest slice of the revenue cake, they have no offshore assets that will take years and years to develop if ever and no useless shale licences. They have millions in the bank, millions coming in and are debt free. What IS needed is news, especially confirmation of the stabilised oil flow rates at Wressle, the life span of the well, full CPR etc. This can only be released when the testing and upgrades are complete, Gaffney Cline have completed their work and all the data compiled. Until then, I fail to see what DB can do to support the share price however much it is dragged down. He authorised an investigation into the leaks, he has brought the company into profitability. He is not responsible and neither can he change the planning refusals. I daresay he is as frustrated as every shareholder.

The fact is in my opinion is that whilst the upgrades are being completed, there is little news the company can release and whilst that situation exists, add to the xmas sell down which many investors are doing along with weak holders who are losing patience, keeping the share price up would be nigh on impossible at present.

Three companies, Egdon, Europa Oil and Gas and Union Jack have released RNS's confirming flow rates are above expectations. Are three Nomad's allowing lies to he published? Are three companies all taking part in a fraud? No, of course they aren't and that comment is about as daft as people can get on here with their attempt at dragging down sentiment.

'If' you are really a shareholder and have approximately 50,000 shares, do you not think that helping to restore and retain positivity on this bb would be a better course of action that continually running every positive post down, suggesting DB is pocketing the profits and emitting a daily output of misery over your 'investment'. The old saying 'if you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all' is one worthy of consideration.

It's fine in my book to debate a company, its assets and its management, but you are monotonous in your deliberations and really don't convince me that you have the best interests of investors at heart.

I don't believe there is any news hidden from certain investors. What I do believe is a few of the big holders who took part in the placing are likely getting very impatient and selling down. There is also the Winnifrith revelation that the company brokers disposed of a large chunk. Absolutely no doubt that Wressle is doing well. As soon as the upgrades are complete and the CPR released, there will be some confidence restored all being well.
