Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Whilst I agree that we do have potentially bigger fish to fry I would have to stress that right now the BPL landing is of the utmost importance as it allows Tranche B drawdown from Mercuria, which has big implications for the company as the plans for that are new processing plant which will have a material effect on the balance sheet of the company. As per the RNS on 25th Jan it is linked to BP in my view:
Drawdown of Tranche B is subject, in addition to customary due diligence and agreement of documentation, to a technical and financial due diligence on Manaila and Baita Plai and the completion of a Baita Plai plant investment plan validating the business of that mine. Tranche B would be secured on the Romanian assets of the Company.
Now as we know the DD for the initial Tranche A drawdown was very complex due to the different jurisdictions that Vast operates in so I genuinely think we're caught up in legalities/paperwork and this historic shareholder nominee issue. Once sorted newsflow can commence.
Just a bit of light heartedness that's all Sardy to while away the time. Always nice to dream though.
Ian, I firmly believe we're now in the 'home stretch'. As soon as this historical shareholder nominee issue is sorted I predict we'll receive news on tranche 2 drawdown from Mercuria along with BPL finally landing. I have no doubt that AP is working harder than ever to deliver bumper news on all fronts.
Now you're talking; the original 'widow maker'.
Yep, that's generally true Cast. You have to a 'preferred' customer although I have heard of very 'friendly and accommodating' dealerships that can sometimes secure you a build slot even if you're a new customer. One day Rodders..............
Perro, you forgot two important letters; 'RS'. Really liked the Singer 'reimagination'. Thought that air cooled motor by Williams was particular highlight.
Likewise Cast. In particular, ones that have the fabled GT3 badge on the rear ;)
Sardy, you could almost claim this was getting traded by algos such is the pattern.
..the bid chasers. Honestly.......
Back above the 200MA on the daily for those who like TA on charts. Sitting there or thereabouts (the 200MA that is) on the weekly also. If we can finally secure news next week we should be looking very good both fundamentally and technically.
We currently have 4 MM's sat on the bid so they're definitely wanting shares for whatever reason; be it to accumulate or fill buy orders.
No podcast. I think he may be sticking to his comment to Andrew Scott that his next podcast will be when we've received the licence.
Very good post Strongboes.
Has anyone had any contact with AP? Cast? Lee Morris? Anyone?
Don’t be. I reckon we’ll get news next week when this historic nominee shareholder issue will be resolved. Whenever we’ve had radio silence AP has hit us with good news. Eureka and Blueberry are both examples.
He’ll get it over the line, just he did with the Mercuria funding. Hold long and strong folks.
I think the issue for Eurosun is an environmental one if I remember correctly? Perhaps someone here could clarify.
*has stated tranche B...
Reading the last RNS, it’s stated that they can’t drawdown on tranche B yet due to the historical nominee shareholder issue. Now it may be my interpretation but that tells me they’re definitely drawing down. Or I will accept they could be planning to drawdown as a matter of course. Now, hasn’t AP stated that tranche B drawdown isn’t conditional on BPL approval but also that he wouldn’t take it without having BP. So, is he as I’ve just stated going through this as a matter of course or has been absolutely assured that we will receive BPL and hence due to legal delays caused by this nominee issue that why we haven’t heard anything yet, or he knows we’re getting the association as such is proceeding to complete the drawdown?
I cannot see any logical reason why we wouldn’t be issued the association. ‘All parties onboard’ has been stated, we’ve demonstrated we can run a mine with Manaila, we have the backing of Mercuria (who will no doubt be known to Rom Gov given Rosia P involvement) in being an offtake partner (so BP ore has an immediate buyer), we’ve taken on the installation of the additional electricity supply, de-watering, installation of lift shaft, equipment rental fees and any other hoop they’ve asked us to jump through. It’ll be issued, I’m convinced.
