Yes pretty interesting and well worth mentioning Calidus hold 12.5km of strike along the Klondyke Shear, of which only 2.6km is included in the 712koz resource to date. And more importantly they have only drilled down to a maximum 150m length (at an incline of 30-40 degrees I believe). Generally speaking grade improves the deeper you go which makes the economics a little kinder for producers considering an underground mine scenario. Calidus could easily double the resource by continuing along strike and testing to depths of 200-250m this year which they plan on doing now NOVO has financed the next 50,000 meters of drilling and then some. Agreed trickling down on low volume with no news. We will be getting updates soon enough and once the drilling campaign proper begins and those exciting intercepts come in we will see this back to 0.5 - 0.6 Also a waiting game for our shares in escrow. The market has not attached any value to them but as we draw nearer to 2019 I wonder if interest will build. Depends what our chairman plans to do. Maybe they will retain and look for a cash offer from a major at a later date, say once CAI has prove up 1.5moz which is very possible this year

I'm tempted to take a position at this price but they MAY soon be cash-flow problems. They are losing money still as we can all see the cash position continues to be depleted and there doesn't appear to be any new contracts coming which many here were banking on months ago.. Cash-flow is vital and it won't take the company until they reach a balance of �0 before they have problems, they need working capital to pay salaries, business costs, listing fees etc. I don't necessary believe a placing is coming but the fear of continued losses and broken promises seem to be weighing heavy on ATQT. Doubts and fears are far more dangerous than the potential growth prospects here currently and as someone with fairly limited funds I won't tie up my money here until we see a turn in that sentiment. Not sector related, most gold stocks I follow were steady on Friday. I would put the fall down to something company related, can't put my finger on what exactly. Perhaps the results filtering through, institutions making decisions to reduce holdings etc. Looks like a buying opp but would not bet against the market.

Buy when others are fearful.. sell when they are chasing the rainbow of 2-3p etc. It's the quiet before the storm in terms of news flow and I am on the hunt for cheap shares :)

Results due early next month. Might inject a little interest here. I find it surprising this is lagging the gold price given the healthy margins and the development of Kibali, which is going to ensure the future cash build especially with gold at $1350. FRES jumped 5% on results, expecting something similar here, a slow burner but should perform well this year

Lonmin are not in the clear yet. I was invested there and lost money overall, buying and selling at the wrong intervals. The facts remain however that the high ZAR is squeezing them harder than SLP, not just because of cash costs and all in costs rising but because one of the covenants of their debt is to have assets exceed $1.2 billion (I think that's right). They have needless to say fallen in breach of that and not to mention burning cash despite the high PGM basket today. Sibanye should let it fail. Unfortunately all those jobs would be lost but I can't see why Sibanye shareholders should suffer for the sake of Lonmins misfortune. Capitalism feeds off bankruptcies and prolonging this one is going to have unhealthy consequences down the line (for Sibanye) and the market as a whole. Sylvania will continue to shine however.

There will be a Final Dividend this year yes. CMCL are looking good for continued dividends, I am not invested there, locked out after selling and waited too long. RRS looks cheap to me given how far other gold producers have come whilst that has barely lifted its head about 7000

There aren't too many investors commenting here of late but that's normal for an explorer. You wouldn't want too much of your money tied up here or in another slow performer like this when there are so many producers making money, SLP for example has risen 45% in recent months off a 10p base and should move higher on results due in a week or two. That being said, it's nice to have some diversification in the portfolio and this one offers that. Precious metals exploration is still a fairly subdued market despite prices of palladium and rhodium surging and likely to go much higher in the coming years. I would expect some interest to build here once the company announce announce the Q1 PFS details. They state trial mining will begin in H1 however they need the permits for this and the environmental permit. It shouldn't be a surprise then to see trial mining pushed back to the second half of the year and that will be when they come back to the market for cash in my view. Environmental permits can take a lot longer especially if there are objections and revisions need to be considered. I'm in for the PFS and will see how high this goes GLA Looking ahead, we expect to announce a pre-feasibility study in the near future and follow this up with trial mining in H1 2018. In anticipation of this, we started the application process for a trial mining permit and environmental permit.

Looking at last years figures, it was $136m so 20% of that would have been $27m (�20m roughly) Last year the Final Dividend was 0.054 x 325.22m shares in issue = �17.6m So this new policy is more generous assuming they made more cash. Because of the weak dollar against the ruble that will have eaten into margins but the gold price has risen recently so even if they turned less in 2017 as a whole (Interims EBITDA was down) the outlook is still rosy this year. A Final Dividend closer to 0.065 per share (3.5% yield at todays share price) wouldn't be so bad

Remember Callum Baxter did not oversee a single ounce of resource added to JORC standard or equivalent during his extensive time in charge of GGPs operational activities. He has always collected a salary however. Before investing, ask what exactly has this man achieved in recent years. Are his leadership qualities the kind you respect and admire? People should not trust anything this man is involved in.

Before that we will hear back regarding the along-strike extensional drilling (3,760m at Klondyke, Fieldings Gully and Copenhagen prospects) with results due in the next month or two. They are going down to 400m at Klondyke! Then Q2 more drilling is planned along strike of the published resources with "the aim of increasing the resource base to in excess of one million ounces". At the same time they are going after potential higher grade grade satellite deposits, located nearby that could feed into the overall annual production scenario we will see in 2019. CNR has this option with their multiple satellite deposits boosting La India production potential. Resource upgrade before the end of the year, likely to be far in excess of 1 million ounces given the 50,000 meters of drilling planned.
