RE: Trouble at Caerus3 Oct 2022 19:20
Good evening prickly,
Further to your comment,
" ... but given the ructions going on at Caerus with new management ,loss of licences, contingency claims etc I think he (Colin Bird) is entitled to be wary about handing over BZT funds."
To be clear the sum of £227,548 owed by BZT to Caerus ("CMRS") is not contingent on any disagreement that CMRS is having with BMG. Indeed, BZT has provided for the payment of this amount in its Interims under trade and other payables, and Colin Bird stated in the RNS that he will provide a further update on the 'outstanding' balance.
Furthermore, by way of background to BMG's dispute with CMRS: CMRS' position is the payment due to BMG will be by way of a net smelter royalty, which is the method it elected on 4 July 2022.
But as you suggest, all these matters are best resolved by being emollience rather than prickliness.
Best wishes,
-TM
