RE: A REMINDER22 Apr 2020 12:55
Some comments …
1. The music licences alone are worth over 25p IMO.
- How can you ascribe a value of >£400m to licences which, based on the interim results only generated revenues of £128k.
2. Warner and Sony are investors with options at 15p
- Noted.
3. John Gore billionaire invested £5m and formed joint venture to stream theatre and has invested as 15p he controls Broadway
- JGB's investment decision is entirely rational, they want to sweat their assets i.e. selling Broadway content to MelodyVR.
4. Netflix paid $25m to stream Bruce Springsteen concert from broadway... Look what we have access to..... Serious revenue upcoming. Musicians and artists make their chunk via performances. Without attended concerts, this is now their only real source of decent revenue for the year and beyond until social / public gatherings are reinstated and permitted. And then there’s the planning and infrastructure... VR gigs will dominate 2020....
- To be clear ~$20m was paid to the artiste and not specifically for the VR streaming rights.
5. US funds have invested significant sums and at a strategic level .. Like Davis Capital LC...
- For a fund that is worth ~$1.3B, an acquisition of 10.68% in a ~£110m company is not a significant a sum.
6. Melody meet with FB and are so familiar with him they refer to him as Mark in RNS 7 melody vr have a viewer coming to market
- I am unaware there has been any announcement that FB have renewed the licensing agreement with MelodyVR that expired earlier this month.
8 live venues in london la and new York yet to be announced ... we know details are fourthcoming, perhaps we hear today!!!??? We know news is coming.
- Still TBC.
9 huge revenue potential through 2020 due to national and international lockdowns and restrictions on mass public gatherings.
- Lockdown has been a unique opportunity that MelodyVR has to date failed to really exploit. The commentariat see the lockdown restrictions as being relaxed very soon and with it MelodyVR will have appreciably more competition for consumers’ leisure-spend.
10. Brands can advertise and reach huge audiences and can quantify exactly how many see their adds
- This applies to all outlets.
