The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Tell me the negative in that RNS.
Fact is, this stock is way under valued and it is only a matter of time before value returns. If you try make sense of the daily movements you will drive yourself crazy.
Tell me the negative in that RNS.
If you try make sense of this share price you will go bananas, fact is, there is a lot of value in this share and to make those sorts of savings is incredible. Value has to return at some point.
@Vog, what exactly would you like the RNS to say? Its pretty clear.
1. Its underway, on track and on budget.
2. It will be ready in June
3. Savings will be $4 /bbl
4. Loan depreciation is outrunning interest and there is a net benefit already within a month
All of this is positive.
Someone looks to have sold 708,940 shares at 1.7804p which is wildly out of limit which has sent the price off.
JBER on the sell side at 2.2, then others at 2.35/2.40 but not in any size.
Im not Doc Holiday if that is who you are looking for.
So unlikely to be me you crossed paths with.
@Brasso, I guess wells will come on and go off or be produced at different stages right through, is it reasonable to expect disclosure every time some routine work happens?
What sort of information do they need to more regularly provide? typically there is a quarterly update and with additional bits appended to drilling/workover operational updates.
They're unlikely to publish their internal accounts/P&L on a monthly basis and have stated that they prefer average production over single point in time.
I appreciate your point, just wondering what else can be said? One thing we do agree on is better liquidity would help the stock no end.
Also Drichi, if the Peso does not devalue (which would be odd given Gov guidance) then that would suggest Argentina was more economically stable which would be a +tive and we could use free cash generation to repay ahead of time.
Shell is down so I guess its never easy to predict the market. Brasso spreading his Christmas joy helps though.
On the share price point in 2012 it was about 25p per share and made a loss of $5m (operational profits of 3m less collective admin and overheads of 8m).
Whilst obviously im not delighted that my shareholding has been diluted, I can see the need to retain key employees. Its not like the main board are loading up. I just searched the RNS on the website and last options issue was 2018.
As for sending out the same reply, this kind of gives it away;
We have had several emails from shareholders this morning on the same matter. I kindly ask you to see below my comments and thoughts.
I dont imagine he has the time or inclination to re-word that multiple times to answer the same question.
@AParky, I think it must be with the benefit of subsurface knowledge from each drill. Seismic only tells you so much.
looks like there is a duplicate trade of 91.8m shares, suggests IFC gone. I would imagine its not two lots.
Good to see that its finally gone anyway and a nice lift to the price. Here's to hoping all the good news and hard work gets recognised now.
I seem to recall over the last couple of years that World Bank were no longer funding O&G projects and working towards sustainable. I doubt it relates to Trafigura, i'd imagine they have a lot going on with Covid and might be focusing on to some key investments.
If nothing else, from a governance perspective, President will probably keep on with the high standards.
It is disclosed on PPC website, 16.67%
Theres certainly plenty going on at the moment!
Well it certainly got through the Sunday papers and Jamie Carragher was all over it at the weekend, think there's a tweet video with him sat on it.
This was covered on the Investor Meet Call (and FAQ on website);
I’ll just answer that direct question. The fact of consolidation we interpret in that question as consolidating it, so instead of having ten shares you end up with one share at 10 times the value of the original shares and the answer is that we have considered this but our current brokers have advised against consolidation to high value share and leaving our shares as a penny share and that is their advice. If advice or views change as to the marketability of shares, then we would consolidate it. If that question, however, relates to a placing i.e. is there going to be a placing in the future, there is no placing which is envisaged in the future currently at this moment in time.
I just looked back at the previous interim dates, usually posted at end of September, earliest posting in last 7 years was 12 September.
Great update today, lets hope this opens up Estancia Vieja for more and helps with reserves. Looking forwards to the results from the other wells.
This one Napthman, mentioned in the Annual Report to all shareholders?
