I just hope the production test has not been subject to delays and the no visible flare means she's oily and not gassy!

A lot depends on the nature of 36-2.

If it's predominantly an oil well, that brings near-term paradox production. Just how much is yet to be determined.

If its a gas well it will mean we are still waiting for infrastructure around October time.

But for what it's worth, I don't think it's a gas well!

I think our timeline will look like this.

1.First hydrocarbons rns. Potentially this week or next.
2. Completion of well test with final results. If an indeed an oil well, fast track to production.
3.Drilling, infrastructure and investment plans for the remainder of 2023.
4. Gas plant refurb. Dominion refurb. Aiming to tie in 16-2 by Oct. If 36-2 is gassy then that will also be targeted for Oct production.
5. Kirkwood well comes online in July upping our production.
6. Autumn we should have 36-2, 16-2 and kirkwood online

And perhaps at this point we have had permits granted for our next well(s) and be looking to drill again.

I think this has been and remained a fluid situation with plans changing to suite. This interview also points out they believe the paradox to be a natural fracture play. Yet 16-2 had to be fracced. It has had its share of problems, not withstanding the extreme slowness of bidens govt In granting permits via BLM on federal land leases.
36-2 is pivotal and I believe will provide the positive direction and clarity that we need. I am expecting we will hear about a much improved infrastructure and drilling plan following the flow test results. I think all focus will be on targeting the same natural fracture network under 36-2 with as many wells as possible. Just my thoughts, but I think that's the way we are now going. If it is an oil well, which I really hope it is, then we will also be seeing almost immediate production from the paradox, with future production from other wells assured.

Correction. I think I misinterpreted the graph, 5000 bopd across the Cane Creek at peak production with various well. 12-1 was the standout at 1400-1500 bopd.

I re-read the paradox history presentation put out by zephyr prior to 16-2 being drilled. It shows the reasoning for having acquired the acreage in the first place. And why the Cane Creek is such an exciting prospect. Many wells have been drilled over the last century, most of which appear to have delivered a minimum of 500 bopd.

But the standout performer amongst them was Federal 12-1. Initial flow rate of 1400 bopd. Peak production of 5000 bopd.

Bodes well for 36-2!

I really don't think people realise quite how big the news we are waiting for is. If 36-2 is a prolific oil well we are looking at almost immediate production from the paradox. And a huge addition to our yearly income. Perhaps even doubling it!

Definitely associated to 16-2 without a doubt.

I am particularly fond of that last line Adon. Wouldn't that be good! And it's entirely within the realms of possibility considering very little gas was expected with 36-2.

Excellent news, another jigsaw piece in place.

If 36-2 is a prolific oil well, it could double our current production figures, including the williston. Then take into account the kirkwood well coming online in July, which we get 50% of production. Then 16-2 should get tied in around October. CHs 5000 boepd a day by end of 2023 is looking very achievable. Perhaps even surpassable, and now perhaps with a higher oil to gas ratio than previously expected due to the nature of 36-2.

But, I am still absolutely confident in my investment decision. And what is also visible in my posting history, is that my resolve has not wavered.
One of us will be right in the end SCE2. And I suspect it will be me. Looking forward to the 36-2 first hydrocarbons rns. Maybe we will get my 30p by year end.

If its an oil well, which it's likely it is, then production should be almost immediate. If its gassy, then we have to wait for dominion and our own infrastructure to be ready. We will know after the production test has concluded. But we should have a pretty good idea after our first hydrocarbons rns. I think CH will want to be very specific if we do indeed have a prolific oil well on our hands.

Fact is, they can't do that until they know what we've got at 36-2. If it's an oil well, we will be getting production from the paradox imminently and in large volume. I don't get why people can't get their heads around that, they can't tell us what is going to happen without production testing. Hence why, CH has said we will get a full infrastructure and investment update after we've had the full production test results in 4-6 weeks time. And I disagree with those blaming our own fundamentals for the poor share price performance, take a look at the wider aim market, Setanta I believe you are also invested in pxen, that's not looking too hot right now is it? On the verge of major news also, so the share price is completely irrational. I hope we get our first hydrocarbons rns soon to silence doubt.

We will get a first hydrocarbons rns well before the test is concluded. If its as oily as we think it is we will go on a charge through April. These lows are due to end of tax year and a poor market. Nothing more. Whole of aim is a bloodbath.

Not looking likely watcher. Easily could get first hydrocarbons rns next week. Would not want to be out of this when that lands. If we've got a gusher the share price will go on a charge.

It's the time of year. Happens every march. Bed and ISA. Guarantee it. No other reason for selling with 36-2 news on the horizon.

I suspect if initial results are good they won't take long to give us our first hydrocarbons rns. The 2021 16-2 test was 2 weeks from start of production testing to first hydrocarbons. But as we know they had issues and that was a frac well. This being a free flowing natural fracture could mean we get that rns sooner. Conjecture on my part but seems logical. Perhaps next week? Or the week after would be my best guess. But I wouldn't want to be out of this at the moment. The small amount of selling ATM will be down to CGT reasons, bed and ISA etc due to end of tax year. I suspect we will get a rocket under us in the new tax year with the right news on the way!

Think you have missed Ezhiks point, They were not suggesting we have Tar. Just explaining why a flare is a good thing in relation to an oil well. I've heard some trying to spin the "it's just a gas discovery" again with no oil on the opposite side of the argument as there was a large flare when we first struck. But noted in the turner pope release, "wet flaring" oil, gas and condensate. Just how much of each yet to be determined. But I suspect we have a gusher on our hands. Can't wait to read about our PROLIFIC well in the next RNS. Sit on those hands.
