I think the purchase of 5% at fair market value by Newcrest will cover our part of the mining expenses and leave some change. Didn't hannam quote that as being around 34 million? I may be horribly mis-remembering

I should have added in my earlier note, that as the role of Hannam is (IMO) to help push the SP and MCAP higher, that they would have jumped on the last set of spectacular drilling results and updated their forecast.



Perhaps they MIGHT still be number crunching, but I doubt it. So it is possible that they have been told (by GH) that if they wait a little longer, there is more ammunition on the way and coming a South Westerly heading ?



Possible ? Or am I turning into a ramper ?

I know I posted this earlier, but was mostly lost in the swarm of trolls this afternoon. Perhaps something to constructively debate.

…….as you know from previous discussion, I have been thoroughly perplexed by what is going on in the SW corner these past couple of months. I know it is just guesswork, but here is a line of reasoning that might interest you.



It may seem very simplistic BUT……..is worthy of your consideration I think.



There have been several rigs in place to the SW for months. They would not be wasting this resource so I think it is fair to assume that they are still drilling.



NCM have released NO news from these drill holes, although they must have accumulated a lot of data by now.

Our own BoD will also have most of this data, so are effectively complicit in this strange secrecy. WHY ??



One might prognosticate that the only reasons for not releasing drill results might be because they were either very good or very bad.

If they were very bad though, they would not still be drilling ? So effectively, it can’t be bad news ?



It is just possible though, that these drilling results might be so impactful that they feel the need to be absolutely certain of their veracity before release……further implying that said results could effect the SP of both companies. Hence both the delay and perhaps, the rumours regarding re-testing core samples ?



Both sets of management will be aware that their respective stakeholders are becoming increasingly concerned regarding this mysterious lack of news and unexplained secrecy.



I suspect that this could be the news that GH was alluding to in his interview and I am certain in my own mind, that they will not wait for the next quarterly update to release it once it becomes available.



All pure conjecture of course and perhaps horribly wrong…….but I believe the logic is simple and sound . Keep in mind that these are questions not answers, but I am gagging to find out.

I had forgotten about that rumour spy. Hmmmm.
At this rate we really will be waiting until toward October for the MRE, not a problem for me, more funds becoming available over the next few months and I'll be putting a fair bit of it into GGP that's for sure. Retired at 31, wouldn't that be nice!

Great to see something informative, very interesting indeed. Me and my dad where discussing the matter of the South West and lack of news there of after the last update. I concur, they have found something, why else would they have 3 rigs there all this time. This just keeps getting better and better. Another high grade mineralised system would be astoundingly good.

News vacuum, impatient late comer PIs expecting a quick return selling. Primorous realising that their statement of a complete buyout of GGP was perhaps a silly thing to say with so much conviction. Good top up opportunity for genuine investors IMHO.

Stebol, learner, completely agree. To many people have come here looking for a quick multi bagger. I have no doubt it will muliti bag, I have no doubt it will make many people rich, myself included, but as Gervaise said himself we are only just scratching the surface. This is a buy and hold for me. Ignore the dross, or laugh at them as I do.

Agreed TMT. Can't fathom why people are so set on a complete buy out of GGPs entire share capital, as if its already set in stone. So many factors to take into consideration, and so many possible outcomes. What I would say, is any one of the possible outcomes will result in us all making money. Come what may.

The room is split down the middle on the subject. I don't believe GGP or Hav will be bought in its entirity. I think NCM will take the 5 percent at fair market value, GGP will retain 25% and use the proceeds of the 5% sale to fund their part of the mining expenditure. I believe GGP will become an explorer/ proxy miner of their tenemants as other JVs are struck off the back of success at Havieron. I think this represents best value for shareholders as we will become a cash generating enterprise, and in time would pay a nice dividend to all loyal LTHs. Just my thoughts.

I just topped up again Hydro. Anyone invested here really shouldn't worry about a few small MM induced bumps in the road.

I am no authority. But yes, over time I think this share could reach 76p or more. Havieron is looking to be everything we ever dreamed of, Scally could well be as good if not better. And then there are all the other licenses. Sky is the limit for GGP with a bit of good fortune.

This will really start shifting when hannam/numis upgrade their price target. When the bar is raised the SP will follow.
