I was discussing the very same thing with my Dad earlier. Why would GH schedule this in, to draw attention to IIs if the results we are about to receive are anything less than outstanding? He's a shrewd man, I think we could be in for a nice surprise.

I very nearly succumbed to the red mist and was about to stick a grand in EUA. Currently with Fidelity and despite being listed couldn't buy. Saw I could buy another grands worth of GGP for 12.4p and made the sensible decision. Happens to the best of us.

I reckon a fair few people will have piled into EUA. The frustrations of aim , they are flying just for being reinstated. Don't think it will last mind.

Personally, 24p a share with what we know would be an insult. Minimum of 40p for me, even then I would struggle. I personally believe GGP will be a multi billion dollar company if we can hang in there for the next few years.

Nice RNS, glad to hear we are going ahead with drilling Scally, should make for more regular news flow, and have added another target to our bank. Kerching.

What is perplexing me is that we still have not had a revised broker note from Hannam...
Perhaps there is more news to come earlier in July that will precipitate this, we shall see.

Dragged me back TMT. As I said. I make a wedge either way mate, I'm not basing my investment strategy on what I consider to be the most likely outcome. I'm basing it on the underlying fundementals of the company, same as you. How about a little wager, if I'm wrong and we get bought out OR Hav gets bought, I'll send you a bottle of your favourite guzz up to the sum of £100, if you are wrong you send me a bottle? You have to possible eventualities and I only have one. Plus I think we could both afford it by then hehehe

Further to last, promise last one, I think the reason we haven't had a revised Hannam target is because GH has told them to hold fire, the South West is coming.

I personally need at least 40p for this to be truly transformational, schlemiel, but I believe IF Hav is as big as we all think it is, and IF Scally turns up too then Mickeys predictions may appear Conservative in the next couple of years. We all have our own paths, and whilst I will still make a nice wedge, I have to say I would be dissapointed to see Hav go, period. This could have the potential coupled with the other tenemants to be worth pounds if we can hang in there. I personally think GH brought Hannam in, to try and drive up the SP as much as possible in the near term, in an attempt to fend off low ball bids and to try and see his company come to full fruition, as a new animal not before seen.
Anyway, enough Rioja induced ramblings from me. Work tomorrow, hopefully not this time next year rodders.

This again raises the point Tom, why would Newcrest Pay through the nose for 5 percent, and then another 25 percent only after they have purchased the initial 5 at FMV, when they've bought 70 percent for a comparitvely paltry sum. They could have their cake and eat it, following a trend known to them of keeping on Juniors as minority partners. Please, for the love of gold, somebody explain to me why most of you think this to be the most likely outcome? Other than your own musings and conjecture?

Admittedly Hannam, and Primorous seem to think the same, and are far more knowledgeable than I, the humble PI, but to me this route makes absolutely no business sense for Newcrest or GGP.
When a symbiotic relationship could benefit them both, and keep both capital expenditure/ debt towarda the project at a minimum.

I don't think we need to sell Hav to get north of 30p. Infact if we retain 25 percent, and become proxy miners I see us being significantly higher in share price come next year, and the year after that and so on. We could do with big institions, sovereign wealth funds etc buying and holding because we have a regular, reliable, high profit revenue stream. Not the potential, and I mean that loosely to be a one trick pony. It would be best to have a sustained income, with the hope of developing our other tenemants in much the same vain with more favourable JV terms. Why accept a 50 percent premia on share price for something that very well could be bigger than kalgoorlie, when you could own 25 percent, have a massively bolstered SP, and either look forward to a share buy back early on, followed by Divis. Or just Divis once in production.

You've miss understood what I said ggp, hannam quoted our percentage of the mining percentage cost at 34 million, I believe. Solidifying my point, if I'm correct, that after the 5 percent sale we would have no need to raise debt. We could pay our way and have a lot more cash in the coffers.
