to my mind modellers point re theatres entirely misses the point of the gore tie up.as and when theatre going starts again those who would have gone pre covid will probably start going again,although in fewer numbers to start with .surely the point of melody in relation to both theatre and concerts is to provide primarily a way for those who cannot afford(very relevant for theatre) or cannot get in (very relevant for concerts)or who cannot make suitable travel arrangements etc ,to access these events.i really don't see how the concept of cannibalising productions applies.at the moment of course melody is having to provide the main source of events, but i would imagine the core concept remains. i don't see the problem with theatre at all in the terms modeller suggests.just my opinion

looks like I've attached an importance to this which others do not feel is there.w for me the fact that O2,one of our biggest recent tie ups, bothered to coordinate a twitter blitz from all its venue account offices (I'm not sure how many there are but its a lot all over the country) suggests at least a confidence in melody and a desire to promote it.i don't imagine it's difficult (just set up the tweet and then ascribe it to all the offices) but the fact they have bothered seems to counter the suggestion, at least in part, that they were not really interested in the tie-up and were not promoting it. perhaps I'm reading too much into it but it struck me as very good news. just my opinion

bald eagle my apologies, at least for using the word" fixed,"which you did not. i was reading something that was not there. however I've listened again to the james presentation at the period you quote and unless my hearings is as bad as my eyesight, he does not say it it was estimated take place in july. he talks about the request for an additional meeting and then says words to the effect that if all goes well they would expec to file in september.no mention of july as such.unless I've missed it.anyway clearly it should take place in july or august at some point so not really much point worrying about it till we hear. yes of course it fum need additional data for fda it will be a hurdle they will have to overcome,.they have been completely transparent regarding this possibility (the same possibility exists relation to the EMA application although fum seem to regard this as less likely). that's just the risk you run with this type of thing. if they announce the fda need additional data the s/p will probably take a hit,just as it will probably be boosted if they announce no additional data is required. hopefully all current and potential investors realise this. if they do find that additional data is required for fda but say not for EMA they might well decide to run with the EMA first and get one approval under the beltas it were, but we are now going onto the realm of pure speculation ,so I'm comfortable with just waitingto see what happens.

bald eagle i don't disagree with your post in principle but i don't think we have been told that the meeting is fixed for July..the last t/u simply said a date had been fixed. can you reference where it says that the date is in july.f rom borders last interview the only specific things for july are submission of the ema package and cbd collab update. if I've missed something and you can reference it fine, but otherwise inmnot expecting anything on FDA in july.i suspect there is a bit of a lead in time to the meeting so my guess,and it,s just that, isprobably mid august for the meeting.i have always accepted that further data may be required for US,although hopefully it won't.

it does indeed. i had one(well different models but all pretty similar) for many years..i loved the keyboard.sadly now i have a rather unimpressive smartphone with touch. as I'm retired now i actually hardly use it,so it serves a purpose..your post brought back a few memories,thanks.

interesting comparison kevijoh.not sure i completely agree but i take your point. i used to trade blackberry and it was quite lucrative but you had to cope with the exchange hit and then it went into a very negative place and became too risky imo, so I've not been in for quite some time. sorry for the slight off topic.looking forward to the two announcements we can expect here this month.

yes LF thats actually a very timely reminder.i tend to forget that broadway/musicals were very much the nascent topic of interest at the end of 2019and it's clear from melody's announcement that things were brought to a dead stop by covid. it's is also abundantly clear from the company's announcements that the partnership with gore is still very much in place, simply awaiting the right circumstances for its development.i have absolutely no doubt that as and when that happens it will be a transformative moment.

just as a change from the grime and drill (not my thing either but i do think melody have done a great job of producing anything watchable in these difficult times) i had a look this morning at how the dropkick murphy concert from fenway park football stadium in boston on the 29th may had fared.i posted a link a while ago(lord font may remember as he was the only person who commented).the murphy performed in an entirely empty stadium playing several feet (yards actually)from each other with only the filming crew.for two numbers they were joined remotely by bruce springsteen playing from his home studio.it.was,imo,pretty awful.im quite a fan of the murphys and very much so of springsteen..but it was just soulless and springsteen looked uncomfortable.the timing of the link was also i think poorly synchronised . i commented to that effect when i posted buts aid that i assumed despite this with springsteen the viewing figures would be enormous. so out of interest i checked this morning and on you tube they have 5,893 views.i was genuinely surprised at how few.im not sure what significance this has if any,but i think it does demonstrate that melody's figures so far are perhaps much more impressive than might first appear and that they have done very well to create and deliver a format that has been so well received.apologies for the long post.

on a serious note youtube figures on the site I'm looking on are better than this time last night. not huge by any means but definitely better. personally i think its all very positive.
