there seems to be quite a lot of activity in the "avatar' type space. not entirely sure how an avatar experience stacks up agains a live (albeit pre-recorded in some cases) experience, but I'm not the target audience so no idea really.

you mean its really not the next SNG! in fairness its just that it needs imo to be viewed in perspective.it is a tiny microchip very little cash in absolute terms (hence the need to the SPVs imo) and as such it is tremendously risky ,worth a small punt if you've got cash you don't mind loosing as potential rewards could be very good. unfortunately phrases like "its nailed on", "next multi bagger" etc are just nonsense. experienced investors can play the game here, but its not for widow and orphans.

agreed bignose its all very odd.my moneys on the wealthy incompetent newbie!.no seriously I've no idea whats going on i suppose its just possible someone has taken a view that the prospect of RX to oct improves the outlook significantly and wants to accumulate before this is reflected in the general market but i don't really think that is very likely.still too much of an unknown and as you say regent has no money etc.it may mean nothing at all of course but it does feel odd and not the normal P&D

agree with that Djp57. its AIM and as always impatience and the desire for news tend to predominate.perfectly understandable but personally I've no complaints about news flow.(would have liked to know what is happening or has happened with MGK though.lol)

morning saint tropez. rest assured i have been investing in aim shares for almost 40 years and i do understand what an SPV is. my posts have simply been intended to make clear that, imo ,they are adding nothing of substance to the fundamental situation. im afraid i do not view this approach in quite the same positive way that you do. that said i respect your opinion, to which you are entitled, as i am to mine. i will say no more on the matter.

saint tropez i understand perfectly what a SPV is in these circumstances. im not suggesting for a moment that black cat is going to perform any R&D functions or anything of the sort. im commenting on its substance and how much weight should be attached by investors to its involvement.investors can check out its accounts and its office address. its a device, not an independent saviour with a magic wand, hell bent on turning val's pis into multimillionaires overnight. it may all turn out perfectly well but the desperation of some of the posters on here is now palpable.

Valju i doubt he is an altruistic philanthropist with the well being of val's pi's as his overriding concern.i have no idea as to his motives any more than you although i assume they are based on the prospect of reward for his services.. im merely addressing the substance or otherwise of these associated entities, something with which you seem to feel uncomfortable.

it would certainly stop me buying one,but I'm not the right age group to judge response. not sure how others would feel but not good news imo. hopefully other headset producers can take up the slack.

well its really a way of raising finance which val couldn't do in its own right because of its size nothing wrong with that in principle but black cat is also a slightly mysterious beast. newly created with one director (a stockbroker by profession) with an office or perhaps just a registered office, in what looks like a block of small serviced offices .check it out.these are not entities of substance imo, so for me the whole interrelationship between all the parties needs to be seen for what it is and I'm not sure that it is being viewed as objectively as perhaps it should. i accept that you are perfectly happy with the situation but i am beginning to feel less so.

i am just wondering if some degree of caution might not be required when considering the substance of some of the entities involved in the proposed funding for Val 401.Zenith partners referred to as being involved in the fundraising with Black Cat (it is not clear how they will be involved) had net assets of £5 at 30th sept 2018, the last reported accounts date. we do not know the current position of course, nor how they are proposing to assist with the finance , but it does not suggest to me that it is an entity of major substance.no idea whether this is significant or not but needs to be born in mind imo
