the portfolio is more widely based than just cell ag.livekindly and rebellious foods are plant based. oritain has a completely different focus(although its a very small holding i accept) i haven't gone through them all so there may be others which are not cell ag.

afternoon bignose.yes i expect the divi discussions could take hours (days even), as they argue fiercely amongst themselves as to just how enormous it's going to be! oh god, think of the disappointment we are going to experience when they pass once again.

i see no time given for Friday's board meeting.usually they hold them at 4pm.

well bigniose your guess is as good(well better i expect)than mine. there was going to be a small surplus from the VXR proceeds,over and above the tax (less than a million i think but haven't checked) which i recall they said would be for general operating expenses or some such. wouldnt enable any meaningful dividend on its own,so still think its window dressing I'm afraid,but who knows.am wondering if they will use the results to announce FDA submission rather than a separate earlier one. we shall see.

afternoon bignose.very interesting observation.whilst i would be astonished if they actually paid a dividend,you are absolutely right.no mention of a dividend in any of the meeting announcements for 2018,19 and 20. problem is, as you say, they are skint, so just window dressing imo.

matchett refers to Huawei as a "partner" in the RNS of 2/2/21. what this means or meant and whether anything is continuing at the moment, is unclear. happy to see any more up to date information if I've missed it.

afternoon albert.i agree that the latest conversion is good news in principle.what N&g do next is going to be critical in determining the course of the s/p in the short term.if they simply retain then i would expect the s/p to steadily improve if we start to get news of positive developments and marketing over the next 2/3 month,as we expect.if they sell down then that would negate the benefits of positive news,i imagine.we shall have to see.will they want to convert the remaining £2m also? they would become the largest shareholder by even greater margin. do they have regulations limiting how large a percentage they can have in any one company? ive no idea and I'm not suggesting they have, but its possible. despite having an average of about 5.3p I'm personally not too bothered about dilution as I'm expecting the situation to be radically different by the middle of next year(for the better i hope) but as always time will tell.just my opinion of course.

so friday was a very quiet trading day, despite the latest conversion shares being admitted to trading. of course there is always next week. let us see what happens.

that would make sense bignose as i didn't think it was there first thing today(i.e. after close of trading) but wasn't sure.they do say specifically that most of the proceeds are going pay aussie tax with about 0.9m usd left over for general runnings.yes agree it may well obviate the need for a cash call for a while.let us hope so.

did we all miss yesterday's announcement of part disposal?only just seen it.looks like a sensible move to me.realise funds to pay aussie tax etc,but leave fairly substantial holding hopefully for future gains.looks like they got a pretty good price for such a large disposal of over 0.80 ASD per share.
