The answer is really quite simple - MM wants to buy THG back and for as little as possible.

Every thing he has done and said is to me proof. Shareholders have been truly shafted here - Oh how different is now to the Cult like adoration of MM I observed when I rocked up here three years ago.

You know when I suggested MM and THG was another Quindell.

That said I am hopeful the worst is behind us and with 180,000 shares here I have good reason to want these at £7.50 or better. I equally beleive this can indeed be a good dividend payer with a potential eps of over a quid at some point even a 25p a share dividend would be hardly generous. So long as our 113m share number is not treated as the get out of jail card for ongoing cash flow issues then CPI might well reward us all.

Expect the worst next week, the lies and spin are equalled only by the mismanagement of THG (unless you are Matt himself).

Delisting this year. Investors will be locked in to this charade with few ways out.

Analyst forecasts eps 4p next year or 60p a share in new.

If thats correct and can be shown to grow the share might well get into double ££ figures.

The consolidation unless simply a vehicle to raise capital will leave only 114m shares. Thats not many if the company performs to plan dividends when they arrive could be quite good.

That follows my assesment.

Sidara have been very clever and effectivley blocked rivals with their 'wooden dollars' 50p.

I think this deal will happen, but it remains a gamble. Suspensions and the WG BOD are not good bedfellows but I will see this one out and may hedge a little more if we see silly prices in the next few days.

Post consolidation CPI will be at 30p eps rising to a forecast 60p eps for 2026.

I personally would hope some of that will be allocated to shareholders.

Worse than anything its only a possible offer.

That is the kicker it can be revised down or indeed never take place.

Just what exactly did Sidara say initially to get to see the books again and what have both Sidara seen and the BOD understand to countenance 35p.

I am seething - the level of either incompetence or lies is staggering. We have been done up like kippers and frankly I doubt we will see a shining knight come to the rescue.

We would be better of reading the Sporting Life and down the local bookies.

That despite almost two months of diligence Sidara can only put a possible offer as derisory as 35p and get a hearing from WG board tells me this is them thinking only of themselves.

I still hold 50,000 here and hope for 35p but frankly I am far from sure it will arrive and I would certainly not want to hold through suspension. I will take what ever the market will give on Thursday or Friday if this is not put to bed then.

IIRC correctly they were offering one lucky winner access to their retired CEO knowledge - the arrogance was breath taking.

Me I thought we would see 80p. I was wrong but I never discounted this day.

Will we see the 35p though? I would like to think it would be bettered but the BOD are clearly teeing everyone up for wipe out if it is not and currently Sidara have agreed to zilch.

To say today is disappointing is putting it mildly.

I personally hope so 36.7p is my average and right now I would happily take it.

I am very close to no longer playing this game - I expected this kind of behavior from AIM stocks but not FTSE 250. I know they all lie by omission but WG I beleive have been very deceitful and probably for a long time.

With the UK's obsession with DEI I beleive this will get worse - my back catalogue of DEI observed incompetence is long and troubling.

Exactly that - this is either an act of gross charity or somewhat untrue. My money is on the latter with the BOD complicit.

if it were not Sidara would simply wait for the administrators. The BOD here are acting in concert with the bidder to encourage acceptance.

Will it work though and will anyone else step in? No idea.

Board told shareholders the equity had no value despite not one but two bidders.

Share had sunk to 2p - they finally accepted 18p IIRC to keep their jobs in the face of a further offer of 30p plus from the rival bidder.

I learnt then just how snakey boards are when it comes to keeping their jobs and bonuses.

Is WG any different? Not so much I would say. Equally inept.

Lets hope so.

In any event this is a hold rather than a painful sell.
