While we all hope for the best. I feel encouraged looking back to Tim's proactive approach with haste down-under to correct the MHRA's roadblock. I am also encouraged without evidence that it is linked to our original set of HNWI's. Now if this is true and they got invested for 1801. What hand will they play next. Will they provide the funds for P2 or will they as a Company make a overt move and out-licence or T/O.

The board and CRUK should be able to see a company geared towards option 1. Sierra did some work but funding was ultimately their issue, they had their No1 to give priority to. Lessons should have been learned following that, so as not to repeat it again. Cruk have to get serious.

I agree with you Leggster, but would much prefer an offer for everything circa £1.5b. Are the deals waiting for the data first. Will only one make a move or will others step in for a bidding war.

Would a pharma walk in and say yh I'll take 1801, see you later. And leave 1802 on the table for others? But give us enough to advance 1802 through P2?

Or take both in the deal and leave the rest of Sareum?

I confess, my $30 billion target is back on the table. The only way to stop this is an early T/O. With funding from 1801, Sareum will be well funded to properly function.

Him, his many aliases and cronies sold at 20 and below and have suffered every day since, praying for the sp to drop just so they can BUY back in. So why don't they move on to trade other shares. They believe in Sareum, but have a false sense of expertise in that they can pick the top and bottom. Hence his bs above that he sold at the peak. Reminds me of Potnak. There's a fear of sonething significant and positive happening to Sareum and the possibility that it will never return to the 20 level hence the concentrated daily attacks on the board mostly during trading hours. They hope they can discourage enough people to sell and in turn drop the price so they can buy.

1. Cancer reigns supreme

To nobody’s surprise, oncology assets attracted the most attention from in-licensors, with the 12 deals representing a near plurality among the year’s largest transactions. Indeed, they easily outpaced the second most popular therapeutic space of cardiovascular, where three big-money pacts were reported.

In line with M&A activity in 2023, antibody-drug conjugates (ADC) were among the most highly sought after assets, with four deals. This includes the year’s single largest in-licensing deal when Merck & Co. – mindful of its Keytruda (pembrolizumab) patent cliff and the success of Daiichi Sankyo’s Enhertu (trastuzumab deruxtecan) – paid $4 billion upfront last October for three more clinical programmes from the Japanese drugmaker’s ADC pipeline.

2. Second half surge

It may be notable that 18 of the 25 largest transactions were unveiled in the latter half of 2023, with four of the five largest in-licensing deals having been announced since October. This may be indicative that monetary policy concerns have begun to abate allowing big biopharmas to start loosening the purse strings a bit.

3. Early-stage interest

Many of the most eye-popping upfront outlays involved assets on the market or in late-stage development, including all three of the largest deals: the Merck/Daiichi deal, Novartis selling off dry-eye drug Xiidra (lifitegrast) and PTC Therapeutics monetising its share of royalties on Roche’s spinal muscular atrophy drug Evrysdi (risdiplam).

However, companies were clearly not averse to looking for attractive assets further upstream as well, as a majority of 2023’s most sizable partnerships featured projects either in Phase I testing (eight) or in preclinical development (five).
