For what it’s worth, my view is that it’s irrelevant if your average is 1.9 or 1.7. This thing will rerate materially on the right news.

Given the company private holding, market cap, prospective exploration and (probably most importantly) the ‘flavour of the month’ nature of mining stocks, I thought it was worth a couple of punts. Let’s wait and see if I was right.

Clearly the presentation has created some interest.

We have an 18% increase on just 1m shares traded which is less than £20k and a handful of trades.

Imagine what will happen on transformational news and trading of millions in a day.

I will be interested to see how the market mechanics work given the poor liquidity of the share.

It will definitely be volatile! Strap in for the ride!

Just took the plunge with a punt in case there is any substance to this ‘large buyer’ claim. Managed to get 0.72 might add the same again if I can get below 0.7

Third trading day that you only seem to be able to buy at .723, maybe this is the bottom till positive news comes.

I will be having a drink and hoping that 2020 will see a material rerate to the share. Not much we can do apart from wait and hope the BoD execute against their plan, which i assume is to make a lot of profit from the investments they have made.

Well you clearly wernt on here when he was trashing the company and CF a few months ago, I was, along with other LTH's on here so that's most probably why I have a different view of him as a poster than you do.

JR, I was and why wouldn’t you be critical? Look at the share performance over the last 12 months. Irrespective of what happens, Sxx devised a plan to get the mine into production and didn’t deliver against it. If I was a LTH I would also be critical. Sorry, I’m not in the ‘give them a break’ gang. These guys are paid to deliver against their plans and you invested your money based on that plan, period.

Holly, there are a huge amount of people who have invested material amounts of their saving and pensions and are sitting on large paper losses. I get the emotional attachment to the share.

I also get the desire just to want to hear positive news because you’re living on hope. They have no other option. If they were going to sell they would have done it by now, so now they have rolled the dice and are waiting (like we all are).

No one wants to be told your baby’s ugly, especially when your baby is a material amount of money.

Ah. Just got the Tim Nice but Dim reference from an earlier post.

JR, you just summed up why I personally see him as measured. Interestingly he always gets the most thumbs up of any poster as well, so I guess I am not alone.

As for selling my stock. I’m new money, not old money so my situation is very different, as I’ve been in and out multiple times in the last 3 months (I won’t bleat on about my 2 pot investment strategy again).

I’m happy to switch to the JR & AlanG camp if either of you can give me anything to support your rerate to 30,40,50p in the next 12 months :-)

To be honest, I don’t normally reply. His posts are his views and trying to argue a position on a share which has dropped 80%+ in 12 months and is 12 weeks away from going under, isn’t worth the time or effort.

I think there is upside to 3.5p in some sort of deal and so everything else is just noise. It’s a complete gamble at this stage.

I actually get more wound up by mindless ‘this time next year we’ll be millionaires’ posts.

All that said, I am happy to take your advice KOH (since you’re probably the most measured LTH on here). Sorry IBAB.

Maybe that could be a scenario. Personally, at this stage, given the time left, I would just like to have a plan presented, as I’m sure many would.

Debating the ins and outs of various scenarios is pointless and achieves nothing and has been done to death over the past 12 weeks. We just await an RNS and then see if the stock goes up or down. Simples.

As for IBAB, not sure why people get so upset about him. Is it because you somehow think he can singlehandedly bring down SXX (BTW if Sxx does go under then I suggest you blame CF), or is it because he gets under your skin? Maybe use your knowledge to argue and counter his claims and posts.
