LOL (actually that even made me ROFL but I have picked myself up now).......Of course you are going to say that , you tell us every day that you are waiting for news before RNS!!! :-)

However, you can't argue that significant returns haven't been made by trading SXX over the last 3 months. I am very happy and unless I fill my trading pot again I have pretty much derisked my punt investment which I will hold till news.

Each person's situation is different, everyone has options, your way is not the model for everyone, nor is mine.

There is a fine line between debating and preaching, you have as much of a clue as to what's going to happen here as I do! ( close to zero)

LOL IBAB, you are trying to make lunch money on MTRO when you could make significant money here., if you played your cards right you should be close to doubling your trading pot in SXX over the last 3 months. Look at the 3 month graph its not rocket science.

This is just the normal ebbs and flows of any share which has hit rock bottom and is waiting for official news that will either materially re-rate it or send it in the other direction.

Just look at the 3 month chart, repeated peaks and troughs. Traders dream and they will perpetuate the cycle till news comes.

Don't get hung up on minor shifts in price, you will get the same in the other direction by Friday... (unless news comes)

If it suddenly drops 10%+ then start to get concerned.....

I don’t care if the deal is done the day before the money runs out.

But the money hasn’t run out so no news cannot be negative. Deal could be announced on Monday, or in Jan or in Feb.

Come back with that argument as we head towards March and I will agree with you :-)

Swizz. I appreciate all your insight in the share and positivity around what the future holds. However, the bottom line is that this share currently has zero traction in the market. A busy day is 10 trades and most of those are existing investors.

Therefore, the question becomes how do we move the share price? Clearly, what we perceive as positive news has zero effect (proven again this week), so something ‘transformational’ or significantly more positive than recent news is required.

I agree with comments about creating sentiment around the share. There is no point in having the best kept secret if it doesn’t earn you any money. We need to create some momentum, hype, profile, buzz in the market.

Let’s hope 2020 sees us moving onto the radar and growing our presence. Clearly, we don’t need a massive volume and trades to move this thing materially, but we need a lot more than the current the average :-)

As I have stated before. If the option on the table is 10p or go bust as cash runs out. What will people do?

Hopefully there is more than 1 bidder this would at least prevent a fire sale.

What the price offered may be, who knows! Higher the better of course. I just struggle with a price so high with all the funding still required and associated risk.

Let’s wait and see what happens. Personally, I don’t see TO as a likely way forward, therefore this whole conversation is hypocritical:-)

Strategic Partner is the way forward (that’s my view today, anyway).

JR In your scenario, I think what you’re saying is that you wouldn’t vote for any offer under £2.

The question is obviously what everyone else with voting rights would see as acceptable :-)
