Sometimes, when you are underwater in a share it is difficult to take a loss, in the same way some investors struggle to take a profit as they think it will carry on rising.

I have a good friend who has a large holding here and I’ve tried over many years to get him to sell up, however there isn’t much point at 6-7p.

For what it’s worth and I’m not, or ever will be, invested in this (as far as I know as I have an investment in a blue chip global fund) as I’ve done my gambling in dodgy geographies but NM got greedy and and tried to take on the big boys. The small pi’s aka the rampers have ramped this to high heaven and look where they are now. If bhp want this, and I’m not sure that they do, they can afford to wait and sit it out and block whoever they choose to as Solg are between a rock and a hard place. The rampers will say we have cap shares, streaming dealers etc but they had $150m and that’s almost all gone what will change. Perhaps bhp and ncm would have stitched Mather up either way but he thought he was smarter than them and unfortunately they haven’t got to where they are in the world by making stupid decisions…..

The rampers on the other hand were buying allegedly in the 30s and ramping away ……they don’t look so clever now

The trouble here is the rampers hype every teeny tiny bit of possible news up and when it comes the few that have possibly bought into their bs and offload, the daily detective work into every trade and the reasons for the falls just show how desperate the rampers are getting.

Posters can go on about the gazillions of gold, copper, diamonds or whatever is underground but until there is a coherent strategy to mine this then there are huge risks to this share.

Several weeks over the past 2 summers have been unbearable.

I’ve tried fans, water coolers etc all useless.

25c+ at night isn’t comfortable a pleasant bonus on our heat pumps is the ability to reverse the value and have cool air blowing out of the radiators. Notwithstanding making a profit on all this including running 3 EVs year on year.
