I’m a bit sceptical about the climate narrative, after all the wettest February since gid knows when ie 19th century hardly supports the climate narrative.
But having electrified our house, to my wife’s horror, as I can control it all on my phone has been a very sensible financial decision.
Couple that with cheap transport( not public charging) and it is a complete no brainer.
I just don’t understand the scepticism on here for updating people’s heating systems, if it saves them money.
Most posters on here are trying to make money long, short etc by investing but a fair few here are extremely anti EVs etc.
Your use of a car seems absolutely ideal for an EV.
Wind, solar, hydro and nuclear are a much better protection than being reliant on Putin and the Middle East for our energy.
Let’s not forget OPEC+ deliberately try to keep prices high and electrification has dented their hope of achieving this.
The reason electric is still such a high price is it is linked to the gas price ……FFS
