I don't really have as well but the only advice I can give is if you believe it will move in a certain direction but not sure (no one can be) only risk a small amount of your investment, you won't always get it right and you need to take a loss now and then but if your more right than wrong happy days, if wrong a lesson leant without probably too much of a loss. This is what I do adding a bit more each time from profits and some dividend cash, the main risk while holding is a Trusty Rusty cunning plan announced or perhaps another event like tariffs, wars etc. This is not advice but something to consider.

Should have added not just DEC, 2 others O&G companies I have with large amounts gas, SQZ and ENOG up similar amounts and there was some BBs on Friday, 18,718 shares average price $13.6938, which probably helps.

This is probably due to EU 50% tariffs postponed until July, Dow futures up 1.33%.

And that is the point, EU been dragging their feet so these tariffs are a wake up call, negotiate or else. The fact is USA very much has the upper hand and will use it under Trump, $250,000 trade deficit so playing hard ball will hurt the EU far more than USA, USA does not need the EU, EU very much needs the USA for trade and defence, NATO relies almost solely on USA, EU pretty much defenceless without USA so need to be exceeding careful dealing with Putin and would have to cave in on Ukraine and other things if losses Trump support. EU are used to pushing other countries around like the UK and many African countries (which is why they are turning to China), now walking a very precarious tightrope.

The golden dome (whether it works or not) is a sign USA are now more interested in just protecting themselves (no matter whether you think it is bad thing or not will make no difference) and is another wake up call for the EU, work with us or against us it is your call. Germans laughed at Trump when he said they were over reliant on Russia, this is pay back and not laughing now.

If there are high tariffs it is only a matter of time before VW, BMW, Mercedes etc put pressure on German Government which in turn will make sure EU changes it's polices to USA.

I had this issue so switch to Brave after recommendation, gets rid of the cr@p and 3 times faster, based on Chrome so works almost the same, also a lot safer.

A time ago I noticed these spikes so I placed a few limit orders but even though I was 10p above the price the buys never went through so one morning checked it out at start of day and saw it was spread which quickly closed, now can take over 1/2 hour to close.

Still managing to get some trades in, bought Wednesday and as it went down waited until this morning to sell out at small profit (just glad to get out of that one without loss) then bought in again after Trump tariff announcement and sold out just before close in profit. As always did not hit the lows or highs but need to be very lucky to do that, again modest gains but every little helps, I did not want to hold when it get around $14 as that has been a resistance point but hopefully as now $14.06 it may have finally broken through, find out next week.

Uranium is where the action has been today and been trading between Cameco and NexGen, YCA up 8.33% (which I hold), started the day with NexGen and ended the day with Cameco. Cameco started up 5% and closed up 11.19%, NexGen started up 6.65% and closed up 15.17%, Nuscale Power Corp started up 6.48% and closed up 19.64% (not held these yet but been following). As you will have seen I did give the heads up on this earlier today before NY opened but as I say the market is volatile, can be fast moving and defiantly not for the fait hearted.

Not sure this is now just the opening auction (may have been before|) as it can last for over 1/2 hour with spread slowing closing and you are able to get quotes to trade at these prices but not sure why you would want to.

What evidence do you have that we do not want this country to succeed, it is a statement completely without merit or facts based purely on idealistic dogma. I certainly want this country to succeed but I believe there is very little chance with this Labour government in charge, this is based on the fact of increasing taxes, increasing regulation, increasing public spending for worse services, inflation caused by government policies, ESG policies causing very high energy costs and many business to leave the UK, increasing illegal immigration with all the costs and additional crime, 13 billionaires left, over 11,000 millionaires left etc. For this county to succeed we need a proper capitalist government and facts are in all cases socialist governments fail on the economy (and many other things) and capitalist ones succeed, just check history.

After you reported seeing price around £10 I check over the last 5 days and each day there is a big drop to very low price followed by big spike to a very high price which is the spread first thing, from experience this sometimes lasts over 1/2 hour. It is the MM playing games at the start of the day another sign of the broken UK market, from what I can see this does not happen in NY but to some extent NY takes the opening price from LSE but never seen this huge spreads on any other shares on NY.

in order to get their Energy Costs down, they stop with the costly and unsightly windmills, and incentivize modernized drilling in the North Sea, where large amounts of oil lay waiting to be taken.

Take a look at the Uranium market, exploding today if you pardon the pun as Trump will sign executive orders to jumpstart the nuclear energy industry. I already hold NexGen and YCA. For anyone interested be warned this is a very volatile, prices can jump huge amounts up and down in very short time and not for the faint hearted even thought the miners and other companies can have market cap in the 10sB.

ENGR looks very good and one for me, the only issue is I am short on cash at present but will have some when the AGR, BBGI and HEIT takeovers cash come through.

I gave GG some safe tips like TELL (now takenover) and a slightly risky SRT which has done very well with probably more to come. Think ADIG and AERS will be the next to go.

I love it when the shorts get burnt, this also was the case for DEC which hit top of the list for a time, the shorters pushed the price down and did not get out in time until all but one were in serious losses.

Thanks for the info, I not in ENRG but ENOG. Added a few days ago on the dip which probably due to Israel's possible attack on Iran but recovering a bit now.

I have shares in NexGen with as well as my YCA holdings, its going to A Lovely Day Lovely Day ......

Agreed, don't get wound up by him but do dislike when he hands out advice without any knowledge, the worst example for me was PNN board where there were some people struggling to understand the RI (not certain they should own shares) so had very little knowledge and he comes in as some sort of expert telling them he expected the shares would crash below below £2.64 from around £4.50 because there was only a 94% take-up, really, dividend yield would have been through the roof. Also telling someone in different terms they were making a mistake when bought in at £3.90, now SP £5.14. Given the lack of knowledge of some of the investors and nervousness they were showing (may have got the shares while working for PNN) I just hope no one took any notice of him but is inexcusable to be going round like this.
