Perhaps one day CPI can show enough shows resilience to get back to the rights issues price of 70p or the price of the shares at the rime of the rights issue of £1.31 over 5 years ago.

Somehow I can't see from £1.31 to £0.35 with no dividends as resilience.

These scare stories will stop when Capita come clean on the breaches and the MSM have nothing new to report, until then the MSM will dig around for more dirt and keep repeating the same news.

I really hope Capita will not have to sell more of the family silver to pay for this mess.

The one good thing is the breaches did not prevent Capita entering the FTSE250.

I am certainly grateful that it has not plunged which was always a danger if we missed FTSE250 entry, but there is the old adage of buy on rumor sell on fact, which can often explain contrarian price movements i.e. when a company announces good results the shares often drop so probably what has happened here.

Unfortunately I believe this was already priced into the share as I have found with other companies I have entering the FTSE250. My main worry was that if it failed to get in the share price would suffer a large drop so effectively a double whammy from the beaches.

My other company entering the FTSE250 today is Gore Street Energy Storage up a little but nothing astounding as it has been a higher just a few days ago so again already priced in.

With hindsight it would have been better to have added a comment but I just posted the article without comment perhaps assuming that people on the forum have the knowledge to know there are different gas markets and the article clearly states this is Europe. You could say we are in Europe but as we know this is referring to the gas market not the geographical location.

As for TerryMC1 I know little about who he is or his history on this board so I have no reason to question your opinions about him

I never once said that this was about the NBP or UK but I just posted the article with no comment as none of these prices exist in isolation. As I have investment interests in Gas I keep an eye on many gas prices especially the Henry Hub price as I have a large holding in DEC and on the DEC board you will find there is an interest in not just the Henry Hub price but other worldwide gas markets, I am sorry you view this as scaremongering to post an article from Oilprice.com which I believed was of interest to anyone who invest in gas producers.

Check my posts, you will find I bought SQZ when KIST made an offer as I wanted to increase my holding in KIST if the offer was successful, but if the offer failed I was expecting the price to rise as usually the BOD of the company under offer put up a good fight and release as much good news as they can.

I really don't understand why you have convinced yourself that I am shorting all the shares I own except your confusion with who I am.

lol, it's actually impossible for NBP to fall below zero, but I guess to already know that.

As for gas price going negative, yes it can as has been proved by history, will it go negative again, who knows, IMO it is very unlikely in the near future and if there is a cold winter in Europe, hot summer in the US or China come more on stream it will very likely rise. However the fact that there are articles on Oilprice.com that are speculating that this could happen are not good news for the gas price partly because it gives traders another reason to bet against it, creates a trend and traders ride this to the bottom and then ride it backup as happened to the £ recently. Is this what is happening, who knows, but this explains why all my gas shares are taking a hit.

However we are living in very strange times, what was once regarded as conspiracy theories have come true and so much has happened that I and many other thought impossible a few years ago. For an example 15 minutes cities as part of some local government plans/policies.

Oil went negative for a time during covid, WTI went from $17.85 to -$37.63 a barrel in a day, was the point of discussion at a share trading club I attended.

What short position? perhaps you could take it up with the writer of the report to see if they are shorting SQZ. I am just putting it out there to try to explain the drop in share price of SQZ, KIST, DEC.

Whether it does or does not reports like these will not help the Gas price and the SQL share price, not news any of us want to hear but better to be informed about what these people are saying.

This fall in gas price keeps going, not sure it will end soon, might take a cold winter to reverse this.

I am also getting hammed on DEC but great yield, will need to sit this out and hope for better times.

Well I am not the troll spending time looking for something elsewhere to attack the player not the ball, I have found very little politeness from you (to myself and others) who you disagree with, all I did was to question the situation of the hack and the response from the BOD. Unfortunately my fears about the hack are proving right as I must admit I did not believe what the BOD were saying. As you have found from my other posts you went through no animosity to any poster on any other board, I sure you would have posted this on here if you had, otherwise why troll me. AS you will have seen I had very polite exchange of views from one poster on SQL where we total disagreed, his said that he would not post again (as most people disagreed with him) but as you can see I basically said that I was very happy to look at alternative arguments especially when put in a polite way and asked him to please keep posting.

There is not much positive advancements about the current share price and lack of dividends, also prospects as lot of the customers seem to be very unhappy about what has happened as reported in the press. I will need to repeat myself again this has been 5 years when it was stated 2 years to turn around and large amounts of the company sold off. The next thing to look forward to are possible fines and compensation which if awarded will dwarf all the other costs. Not much of turnaround.

As mentioned multiple times, cyber attacks have unfortunately become a common occurrence for corporations of all sizes. Capita has taken proactive measures to address these incidents in the best possible manner. It's important to acknowledge the efforts made to mitigate such challenges and focus

What efforts, all we have seen is over 2 months trying to figure out what happened and then find there is the second breach.

I see you are trolling me, so funny, have you nothing better to do. Also read the posts on SQL where almost all private investors are angry at the BOD for more or less giving the company away to keep their jobs. Perhaps you would like to post on there against them as well but please don’t as the good thing about the SQL board is that no matter what your opinions are everyone is polite and deals with the issues no attacking the person for because they hold different views, also no trolls.

However you are very selective it the boards where I post, take a look at DEC, GLEN, ASLI and others where I am general agreement with the BOD.

The reason is that almost all news so far has come from, the press with Capita just coming in after making statements which latter proved to be somewhat misleading, as the example I used, we do not think any data has been taken, REALLY.

I could and would have handled this differently as I have some experience in security, of course difficult really know what is going on as Capita lack of info but one thing I would say is that each user, especially inexperienced ones overseas should be limited to the amount of data they can see and therefore any that can be leaked though their account by a hack. Then I would have got all the bad news out, take one hit and stating that measures are being taken to tighten up security to help prevent this happening again.

Come clean, either they know what has happened but won’t admit it or the press know far more than they do, either way not good. Over 2 months for the report into this breach, looks like a kicking the can done the road strategy and hope it goes away but still be bad press reports keep coming.

Turnaround took much longer than expected, yes. But results are there for all to see in the reports.”

The time to let this go is when the BOD do their jobs and turn this disaster around instead of losing data (not 1 breach but 2) and money, playing it down, letting the press take the initiative on the news. IMO this is not turned around until there is a proper rise in the share price and some decent dividends (waiting over 5 years now, still none).

Who’s Bertles. I think you are suffering confusion, also what turnaround, share price gone down after brief rise on results, still no dividend and an unknown but probably high price to pay for the hacks. Also reputation in the gutter, all over the MSM for poor data security and lack of information from Capita, does not play out well for future contracts. As you say the results are there for all to see, 5 years of this BOD and nothing to show for it except losses, broken promises and great remunerations packages for the BOD.

One big warning sign with this company is you cannot trust what the BOD say, nothing to see here, we don't think any data has been taken etc. Always behind the curve.

This is on top of the many times the BOD have predicted recovery starting just after they took over at the rights issue.
