Good point and but would you have when they were £1 (up around 1,000%), £5 (up around 5,000%), £10 etc while paying a good dividend all on the way up to £13. Also at £13 there was a good dividend and were being given high ratings from brokers, ask Neil Woodford, it is what helped to bring him down.

Unfortunately I do, it is me, I got these in the late 1980s when they came to market and topped up a few times over the years. Did not want to take up the Rights Issue but still in profit then and if lapsed would had a CGT bill bo sold some and took up the rest just enough to avoid CGT. After some request have posted my CPI story on here. Great for around 25 years, terrible since. Believe or not CPI was one of the best performing stock in the FTSE for over 10 years.

Agreed, they do this to hide the real picture which they are scared to publish as it will show what a pigs ear they have made of running this company. Does this debt figure include the bonds issued a few months back, these need to go as paying over 10% in an environment where interest rates are falling.

The best thing now is JL is out and all hopes turn to Adolfo, hopeful he is upto the job.

Anyone could reduce debt by selling off the family silver, you don't need to pay someone in excess of £1m to do this, his job was to turn CPI around and he failed miserably to even turn CPI into profit after 6 years.

For me bankruptcy would have been better, I would not have taken up some my allotted shares in the Rights Issue, which cost me a lot more than my total holding in CPI and what is worse he thinks he has done a good job.

Market flying, CPI not down, JL leave now and shut the door behind you, as shareholders we cannot take more of your turn around.

I love your optimism especially given this poor TU which is all talk and no figures.

JL has found a new way to hide his failure, before it was one offs, complicated accounts no one can understand now just don't bother with figures so nothing to hide, except try it on with revenue growth up 2.1% but he conveniently forgot inflation. However he sold over £100m in inflation busting bonds giving over 10% yield just a few months ago.

No Profit, No Dividends, Jam tomorrow, SP can't keep up with the market.

JL ended as he started except with a bigger bank balance, I guess he decided to go as nothing else left to sell and he is incapable of turning a profit from what's left of CPI.

Not sure I like this, where is the mention of Profit and Debt, also revenue growth of 2.1% in 11 months so way behind inflation. Where are the figures? very few and a lot of talk so I guess this time no need for one offs to hide the real picture. I personally want to see the numbers for Profit or Loss and total Debt.

It talks of contract wins which is good but that has never been the problem, it is Profit and Debt. No mention of dividends so as far off as ever. I guess it is another we are turning around report but after 6 years still not done.

SP may rise a little but can't see a proper recovery based on this report, so as usual wait for the next one in the hope that one day this will produce so decent profit and perhaps even a dividend.

As I said the best thing is not to engage with GG, otherwise he gets the attention he wants and will not stop until he clogs up this board so much it becomes pointless.

I don't think this has much chance with the Democrats but certainly not with Trump or any other likely Republican leader, expect we will see drill baby drill back. The US is hooked on cheap energy and will not give it up at any price.

I don't think Brexit is much to do with it except it showed what a useless bunch we have in Government and Opposition.

IMO it is to with the Government and threat of a Labour Government, incompetent, over taxed, over regulated, business belligerent, obsessed with ESG, WOKE etc.

Why buy in London with stamp duty, none in NY, to list in London you must produce ESG reports even if not trading in the UK. Make a good profit or upset the ESG and WOKE brigade and you will be castigated by BBC, Guardian et all. FSA more interested in ESG and WOKE than fraud. Companies under constant scrutiny of how many women, ethnic minorities are on the BOD. UK funds perusing ESG policies causing poor performance. Regulation to force Pension Funds to buy Gilts instead of shares etc.

Does not look like they are any time soon, still Sporadic and Anemic, DEC fiddles while Share Price Burns.

A good example of UK market is Uranium, buy physical Uranium in US via Sprott 5% discount or less, buy physical Uranium in UK via Yellow Cake discount over 12%. Same thing just where you buy it.

From what I found on this at the time it was a badly run investigation which came out of Bloomberg Green, was performed by a few students using a few wells that they thought would be the worst, not a representative sample. Although this had a short term effect on the SP not sure this is relevant now as this was taken a time before DEC SP peaked. Also DEC has improved it's control of the leaks since then it has won ESG Green awards.

However given the current falling knife a rerate to 10% looks very unlikely, even 20% now seems a way off. Hopefully something will turn this around perhaps the US listing (I am not sure about this), reduction in Debt, some decent BBs, lower interest rates but with HH falling every day some cold weather will help. We can but hope or get out.

Yep but it means we get out cash not off to Mercuria never to seen again but we did get our share priced trashed as part of the deal so now a lot worse off unless you are one of the BOD.

The deal was for 246p a share in cash and 0.2932 new Kistos shares, even the cash element is better that we are now.

I think the Dividend RNS is a compliance issue.
