Perspective reality of market3 Jul 2019 02:36
It’s all very interesting listening to the doom & gloom merchants V the so called Rampers on here. One side seems to base itself of stats, facts, research via the Web, media, legislation & contacting the experts or Company itself.
The other end of the scale is put into the rhyme with Tankers or bankers gang. I am a stats man and look at the numbers game.
With tech firms it’s all about numbers. We’re Apple respected and admired in 2011 with annual sales of 1.7 million units sold? Was there legislation back then to say you have to have an iPhone by law? No there wasn’t. In 7 short years IPhones went from 1.7 m - 250 m units sold.
We haven’t even entered YR 1 properly of the life cycle yet. Look at the numbers. Compare to apples start of the iPhone boom we are miles ahead on the stats.
One model for Ford & 1 model for Mercedes will maybe out strip the 1.7m units sold when we in production. How many models of merc & Ford will we be in soon? Who else are we working with? GM. How many units to start? BMW. How many units to start? FCA. How many units to start. Who else? What else is on the table?
Bdms, fleet, aviation.
Will we win the likes of Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Mitsubishi, Chinese Car Companies, commercial van & truck companies? Maybe or probably.
Only then can you put yourself on the box that suits.
