The WTF stock chart of the year. And another WTF chart of just how tiny Tesla is compared to the top 10 automakers.
Tesla’s shares spiked another 20% this morning, or by $160, to $940 a share. Every time I write a few words, I have to go back and change the number again, because the price just keeps shooting higher. So far this year, TSLA has shot up 120%.

It could very well be that by this evening, shares are down by $300 or whatever, or that they’re at $1,100. They’re floating up high in the outer space or irrationality, and can go anywhere. So this the WTF chart of the new year with Tesla’s share price frozen at 9:51 AM Eastern Time (stock price data via YCHARTS):

Everything i have read recently, the handover to driver is the most important so hes liable. Obviously will be some product liability insurance in place but i think the driver will be ultimately responsible. Far too complicated with any other scenarios ive run through my head.

The only guarantee i can see is that we will be bought out in 2-3 yrs, if not sooner. Iam hoping min 2yrs so that the orders are on the books and the seeds planted so we get the best multiples on sale.
Unlike SEYE our contract win values look low but iam sure based on 5yr deals. Yesterday Paul spoke of 5,7, 10yr contracts. With 10yr contracts at A$10-20 per unit Ford F150 model could be $100-200 million on its own.

Few more Ford models & you could have $1 billion order book on its own over the lifetime.

Probably a mix of FFS manufacturers and OEMs. The big aircraft leasing company to the world wants single pilot planes. These types usually get what they want. But that element a way off yet so FFS be 1st.

Recently Airbus completed its latest test, with an A350 aircraft completing the first automatic takeoff ever. The pilots on the flight deck were in place, as a backup, but they were never needed as the plane rolled down the runway and rotated (lifted off) and climbed to the prescribed altitude.

The project has been in the works for more than two years, as 20 Airbus engineers create a system that allows the aircraft to use a visual reconnaissance program. The initial goal is for the airplane to taxi from the gate, hold, takeoff and then land, where the plane will taxi itself to the prescribed gate.

No pilot needed.

As futuristic as this sounds, we are far closer to automated flight than many realize. As the car and truck industry move the concept of driverless vehicles further, aircraft manufacturers will do the same.

The transformation will come in stages and over time. At first, cargo aircraft are to be fitted with the equipment, allowing for total automated flight. The two-person crew will be replaced by a single pilot, who will simply monitor the aircraft to make certain everything is operating as required.

My timing is consistently useless, so dont bother usually but i did last week 4.66pish to get back 4.44pish.

1st time a RNS or price not shot up as soon as i usually do anything. A share could not move much for 2 yrs and me selling creates a tidal wave 9/10 times.

So i grin & bare it, never make a day trader.
