Don’t worry I can ramble with the best of them. Lol
My industry has collapsed atm so it’s good to hear opposite stories.
There’s many unbelievable dedicated posters on here that really do turn every stone looking for stories, evidence, examples of our tech because we know we are right. What needs to catch us up is the SP. for that we need decent turnover, profit, dividends, perception, exposure etc or a mixture. What are we actually buying into? For most SP increase is probably No1 then possibly a dividend for No2 but SP increase is the most important. Then it’s probably a buyout?
It’s value it’s worth in the future is what I buy for so I can sell some at a vastly improved sum. We could all play safe and invest for dividends. Even with Covid some good 4-5% yields out there. Your 140k could give £6k + per annum.
Steady investments are great but where’s the thrill, the ride, the journey, the story? Tesla is a great example. No dividend paid so only SP increase to look forward to. But the buyers still come even at $1400-1600.
With bigger buys there are many reasons. What do they know, Iam not mad, good to see others in the game, is it a fund buying, I hope it pushes up the SP etc etc.
We was never meant to start making big money until auto kicked in so upto now it’s been what’s the rush I can buy next week or next year even & still not miss the boat. The fund managers are looking at the current or next years results so add that to a lack of exposure & failure to understand the Tech or its significance then it’s not on mosts radar. Not sure what the biggest buy was when Lombard bought? A few million max at a time from memory.
I do believe that we are now in the transition period. Regulators are regulating, cars are finally being launched, USA brokers have started an awareness campaign & our tech is being talked about. We not mainstream yet though, when all the cars start hitting the tarmac & in all the media, contracts & patents are watertight then we would of arrived in auto world.
Don’t forget the other 2 legs of our 3 legged model though. Aviation after Covid will take time in commercial but to me military looks like it’s ramping up a bit. Something big will drop at some point as a shock to us all.
Lastly Fleet. This will tick along nicely. As we get closer to legislation more and more fleets will install. So a few more good global distributors or a couple deals with existing telematics companies & this is a business on its own.
I had a decent holding but since 1.6p I have been topping up weekly, if not daily.
The news will start to flow, as will the RNS’s over the coming 6-18 months so buckle up for the ride is my advice to anyone.
