Would love to get a trading update but I'm happy to wait for FY results later in year. I'm very confident we are on to a winner here. I think if Zinc were still struggling we would've had a trading statement to that effect before year end. Also I don't think we'd have had directors buying. We would also not be at .095p. More like .05p . Patience required here. Other news could come at any time, new commissions etc, also acquisitions or indeed a bid for zinc. If we are making money now any bid for us would need to be seriously higher than current sp. Everything to play for here.

Acquisitions!!! Damn iPhone + Fingers like sausages

That's right, tomorrow is the last day of zinc's financial year. The first 6 months reported a very small profit, however the 2nd half of the year is where the majority of their revenue comes in. It's difficult to imagine they are not making a healthy profit now with the turnaround in this company sucessfully executed. The director purchase a few days ago is a very good sign and also the share price firming up right now even with a few large sells. All we need is a positive confirmation from the company and this could quite easily fly back up to the 2p mark. But that would just be the start. Management have previously stated their intension to grow the company through acqisions etc and I believe they will very soon be poised to do so. £6m market cap today, well we know that's a joke.... with a few smart moves this could be £50m in next couple of years

Amina52 , take note, David Galan would not splash out £4000 of his own cash on a company that was 'going bankrupt'. Patience required.

Because unfortunately we have a seller and a lack of buyers. The share is highly illiquid - it will shoot up as well as down on very low volume.

Bringmyreward, i suspect broadwalk are the seller and they probably still have several million more to go. For what it's worth I believe this share will rocket when we find out the full year results - which might just coincide with broadwalk exiting. Market cap currently stands at roughly what Zinc paid for reef TV. That values all the other divisions at zero. Yes, ridiculous isn't it. Especially when you consider reef has been exceeding expectations from day 1. When you add to that the fact that all other divisions are all performing well and we are not losing money it's hard not to imagine this share re-rating spectacularly when the bottom line is revealed.

Atisha, what has it got to do with bbsn? The merger is off the table, did you not know?

Year end is 30th June. Results would be published around end of sept. However by the end of June the company should have a good idea of profitability, a trading statement would be nice to inform the market at that stage. In terms of the bbsn merger talks I'm glad they decided not to merge with a company that was losing money - we are about to start making profit here and I personally think a merger with bbsn at this stage would've set us back. We know zinc have said they will be on the look out for acquisitions so there may be many of these 'preliminary discussions' in the future with other companies. With regard to the drop in sp of late - I suspect this was broadwalk selling, they may still have more to offload, who knows?
