See, this is what is called a straw man argument. It's when you assert someone did something they didn't do and then argue with them about it.

Not so long ago in January 2023 the peak intraday price was plus minus 70p. That was when there were >300m shares issued. Pro rata with circa 200m shares, that's 105p.

If the shares were trading at approx £1 now the company would be valued at just over £200m. Given the enormous potential of the technology involved that's small beer for anyone with the rescources to take it under their wings for future investment and developement. It's not out of line with previous precedents for the sale of other QD companies (such as QD Vision) nor with the $130m one off settlement with Samsung.

What is more, according to the CEO, it's likely all going to shake out one way or another this summer.

The speculation is pointless since there's no way for any of us to understand what another entity might consider good value based on their own private plans.

It's the stock market, not the pub, so it would be better if you all shut up for a while.

BT and his team did well to walk from the Samsung case and spend the proceeds putting new directors in place. A far better strategy than getting bogged in court, where Nanoco would still be now otherwise.

If it's in development there's no profit to go after. The normal advice is to wait until there have been sales and then pounce, sometimes after many years waiting for as much to accumulate as possible.

Won't be long before the forums are full of self-appointed legal experts claiming that Nanoco can't lose, that LG are terrified and that the damges will be multiples of all precedents and bound to be settled out of court soon. Then once it's eventuallu over and a reasonable settlement has been made and distributed they'll blame everyone but themselves.

My view is that we shouldn't be surprised if they want to get out from under shareholders given the amount of dribbling, toxic criticsm they're subjected to on line from places like this.

All listed companies are for sale regardless of whether they say it or not. That's kinda the whole point. Question is, is Nanoco worth more or less now its patents have been validated? Only time will tell. What we do know is that had it been run by any of you fools during the litigation it would have gone bust then.

And it is pathetic that almost two years later you can't let it go but insist on trolling Nanoco at every opportunity from behind your anonymity. Cowards.

No one lied to anyone excpet that you all lied to each other with your silly beliefs that the legal settlement would break all previous records by an order of magnitude.

None of you have ever located any single case precendent when, in a similar situation, a small company with limited resouces settled a patent dispute against a major multinational for anything like as much as the BoD of Nanoco achieved.
