Borzon Block VII Commitment & Costs

Under the terms of the Production Sharing Contract (PSC) signed in early 2025, Petro Matad has committed to a phased exploration program:

• Phase 1 (First 2 Years): The company is committed to a spend of approximately $980,000. This includes all PSC fees and low-cost exploration activities.

2. The "Farm-Out" Strategy

For the heavy lifting—specifically the construction of the 200MW hybrid project—Petro Matad does not intend to foot the bill alone.

• Asset Monetization: As the 200MW project reaches "Ready-to-Build" (RTB) status in late 2026, Petro Matad plans to bring in a strategic partner. 

• Partial Sell-down: They will likely sell a portion of their equity in the project to a major international energy firm or infrastructure fund. This brings in immediate cash and ensures the partner provides the capital-intensive funding required for construction.
