With social media, resource nationalism is on the rise. Even in developing countries people have access to social media and can get whipped up. Populist local and national politicians also thrive on such performative nonsense unfortunately. In the end, 100% of zero is zero but that won’t stop politicians.
Add in the issue of corruption or taxation (another word for corruption according to some) then we have a problem.
Har likes to pump out stats but the risks here are intangible and can strike at any moment.
Again I expect to get shouted down. Which is fine by me. Many have endowment bias unfortunately.
For the genuine long termers I hope I’m wrong and you make truckloads of cash.
