Re-read what I wrote numpty - clue in "right to the dividend" ..... you don't get the right to the dividend if you buy on Ex dividend day ......

One ignores the record date .... The day of Ex dividend gives you the right to the dividend which is tomorrow.

Save if you cross compare the text from last year it is virtually the same ... my concern here is that the CEO who just retired has 8% of the shares in Cenkos that have gone off the RADAR ... so will Cenkos be bought out or will the shares be offloaded?

I never buy a load at a single price but always dip feed in small amounts over time :)

Still an 11% dividend earner .... at current prices ... a small divi cut was on the cards, and happened in the main part because of the re-launch of the TV advert.

133p was an AT trade taking stock off the level II order book.

Level II is turning out to be a poor reflection of the prices MMs are willing to buy/sell at ... what you have to appreciate is the number of shares MMs have to get rid of/accumulate in the background that you don't know about. Background trades have seen massive exchanges across institutions these past few months .... Market is pricing in a 50% cut in dividend .. is Mr Market right? If Mr Market is wrong ... there is up to 100% upside IMO :)

On your initial investment ... No. But I've been buying at 37 and selling at 39 for quite some time and am 30% up .. so it is not all bad :)
