Cheers for that Mr B. I transferred from them last year when they put their charges up which I think are well pricey, I find AJB much cheaper but they do struggle to cope on busy days. Last week when the first vaccine news was announced, I couldn't log on for about an hour so it's swings/roundabouts. On a final note, I trump everyone here for not knowing anything as my maiden purchase here in 2017 was around 26p, I've averaged down and traded my way to a lower average now but still emphasises my point! atb, our day will come, I'm sure of that.

Yep, anymore than 5k (shares) to buy and it goes NT but they'll take decent size off me. Are you also with AJB as I'd be interested to know if it's the same with other brokers or just to AJB. The more the merrier as that would indicate that there is a buyer out there imo.

Decent amount traded today and looked mostly like buys. Nice 1,000,000 (shares) bought right at the end. Can't fathom the SP being down on the day. One day I'll get the hang of this share buying business! ;)

I don't get your point Zoros. The funds raised are exclusively for porvenir but the shareholding is SOLG so the shares aren't ring fenced, just the raised funds?

An interesting development. There'll be a bun fight over this company at some point, I just can't see them staying independent but pure supposition on my part

What a difference a week makes. I knew I should have done a larger top up at 14.62 last week! Looking fab right now and more to come with lots of catalysts to take this higher in the coming weeks/months/years imo

Lets wait and see what the major holdings look like once the dust settles wrt to last week's placing. For me, Barrick were never looking to be a long term shareholder here as the terms of their original 'buy in' RNS gave a 1 month lock in period followed by a 12 month 'orderly market' clause (proof that they intended to exit when able). Much better therefore to have them exit in one go at 16.5 without having them drip selling over the next 12 months imo. I've topped up at around a 12% discount to last week's placing and will just sit back and let SHG get on with things from here. The market will do what the market will do and it's thanks to them that you can buy at such a great discount to those that took part in last week's raise. Could it go lower, of course, but imo it's likely those buying today have a great chance of selling at a decent profit in the not too distant future. atb

Strange price action this morning. At one point you could buy at 14.75 and sell at 14.81 and now it's 14.5 to buy and sell. Just glad we got that placing away at what now seems a decent price!

That just about sums up my thoughts Mr.B (and I guess a few others too). I'm sort of expecting a wider market sell off at some point soon, which doubtless would drag us down but I keep looking at the current MCAP of SAVE and thinking it can't go much (famous last words) lower with potential for serious upside. But, my other niggling doubt is does the market know something we don't? I only say that because what else can explain the current SP which is significantly lower than it was before we had the 7e deal under our belt. Peculiar and perplexing doesn't begin to cover it!. I'm continuing to hold in the belief (and hope, of course) that I'm right and the market is wrong and that at some point they'll admit it and take us up to a more respectable SP!
