Punctuation would allow us to read your missive !!
Up and down - excited one minute, depressed the next. No real explanation
You are so dreadfully DULL and SO bloody predictable. The pathetic and meaningless arguments do nothing to educate and fuel dignified debate but in your case we are at the very childish end of the spectrum. I am not intending to be personally rude but all this is just so pointless and tiresome.
I just wish others wouldn't rise to the bait - it only fuels the fire.
Thank you all for your response - pleasure to read educated and well thought out answers and it helps put my mind at rest.
Perhaps time to dip into my pocket again?
I am an amateur investor but do not tend to dive in without doing some research. I have a substantial holding in this share which I have held for a long time. I am aware of the volatility of the aim market but have rarely seen a share yo-yo as this one does - seemingly with little logic. Not long ago the share was 1.35 and before that as high as 1.80 . At the same time recent news all seems very positive - albeit for the long term - and yet the share prices rises and the dives on a regular basis. More recently .35 down to .22 seems excessive given the confidence exuding from the board who all seem very calm and pragmatic yet with a youthful (which they are not) enthusiasm. They are clearly excited by the prospects ahead.
The more balanced of you contributors to this site had seemed to expect a steady rise or at least some stability until the next stage of the project. But no - another unexplained mini collapse and total loss of confidence.
Please tell me , in your opinion, why this is happening ? All my shares in the main footsie are always stable if unexciting.
I knew this was a gamble but I'm not sure how much longer my heart will hold out under this pressure !!!
Not as long as me !! Bought at .12 and did not sell at 1.80. Still holding 250,000 shares but sold some in frustration at 30p.
Average buy now .60 as I bought a lot on the way up and down !!! Waiting patiently till it hits £1.00 again and will then cash in a few and analyse the situation from there. Certainly been feeling better this last week until the sudden reversal - which I assume is only temporary.
Louis - I rather suspect that you are a very small investor. Most people with substantial investments in this or other share portfolios are unlikely to rabbit on as much as you. They will quietly execute an investment plan and invariably get some things wrong. My average purchase here is .60p so I am well down - it rose to £1.50 - even £1.80 - and I got greedy thinking it would surge further on good news. Well - I, and others, were wrong in the short term and may live to regret it but it seems sensible to stay put and wait to see how it all pans out over the next few months. It does seem as if the market has lost faith in this share and I do find it rather disturbing that everytime the management release an RNS or conduct a seminar the price crashes further.
We are all disappointed but we also know how extraordinarily volotile the AIM market can be.
I do think it is time you stopped pretending that you are such an expert especially as you never seem to add any flesh to the bone. Some of your predictions have been right - so have some of mine !
It is all getting very unpleasant on this board and I would suggest you invest in some humility and kept you ill informed opinions to yourself. I suspect others feel the same. This board was once a source of knowledgable and experienced punters who whilst sometimes sharing different views did not resort to childish "I told you so" behaviour .
No Louis - we are only asking that you are able to substantiate your views and go about your business in a rather more pleasant manner. Alternative views are perfectly reasonable but you are agggressive and rude and, like so many, hide behind the veil of anonymity. The curse of the 21st century !
"Hardly the sharpest tool in the box, are you". Please apply this statement to yourself and leave others alone. It is all very tiresome!
The AIM market is so frustrating. Rumour sends the share price tumbling and actual positive news sends it up only to drop back down over a matter of hours. The share price was £1.50 not so long ago and yet we are in a better position now than we ever have been yet the price hovers around the mid 50's. One day I'm either going to be a pauper or a prince! Like many I have been in a long time and with a substantial holding. How much more can my nerves take?
I'm afraid these AIM shares always bounce around hence the fact that they are so risky - look at ITM ? We were up at £1.80 plus in Texas then the share price plummeted to great depths before it jumped again to a similar level before collapsing in the face of shorters and Director's sales. Now at .47 pence it is looking fairly sad but somehow I feel it is in a stronger position than at any other time. However I suspect that many of us would like to see a threefold rise before possibly cashing most in. Not sure my nerves can take much more. Think I will only devout about 5% of portfolio to high risk stocks in the future.
They both looked old, tired and weary. Is this the result of a long haul in Alaska or depression following the rapid decline in the share price? Perhaps simply frustration that things are not quite going to plan ? However we all hope it is the lull before the storm and that in a few weeks the energy and smile will have returned to their faces.
Good to see Blackadder remains so positive. He clearly knows his stuff along with one or two others so his missives are always sensible and constructive reading.
The market seems to have overreacted so I am expecting the share price to end back in the 55-60p range with 10 days or so and then (yet another ) nervous wait to see if the blockage is cleared and the flow rate commercial. I have invested too heavily here so could do with a bit of calm in my life.
No RNS yet the share price galloping ! Is there a leak or have I missed something?
I hope you are right !!
There does seem to be a pattern here. Every time we expect news and have to wait and wait and wait - it usually turns out to be very negative or a positive spin on some disappointing results.
I really wish that they would put out a statement (RNS) of some description. After all we have had to contend with directors profit taking and then the shorters and negative press and have had no explanations.
Like many I have been in for years and have gradually kept building my stake - I'm getting very nervous.
I only hope that the old adage of "no news is good news" applies here.
Jay, Bob and co may be playing a very clever game - god I hope so !!
Well Charlotte - if you are right about 250 - 280 I am sure all posters will be thrilled and delighted. We might even forgive you for hedging you bets !! All in jest - not intending to offend anyone.
You always have strong opinions. So if it goes down to 110 where will it end up in 8 weeks? Give us a long term opinion not a short one !
Thank you for that response Villa01.
