Yes, it looks like it. Oil future contracts have risen significantly today for this year and as time goes by with the hedges rolling off, Wizz will have to renew. They are vulnerable if this becomes protracted. The share is holding up well today considering. Every day that Strait remains closed we will have a down day.

Shorts now down to 14%, if the Straits start flowing before the end of the week and the SP is bouncing above 1000p, this could become interesting.

At the forward dates and for Oil over the next year you will be lucky, to see a price of $83-85.

How about the Brent futures contract price of March 2027 of $76.13 or the November 2026 price of 79.68? The world is awash with the black stuff and if this rolls over the spot price of oil will fall rapidly. The Oil traders believe the price is going to fall, hence the contracts. You need to be more accurate with your data young man.

Well I hope you all earned a few quid this morning, I took the ones of the shelf that I bought yesterday, the real jump will come when the straits open and peace looks nailed on. Once the SP is rocking towards 1200p the shorts will start sweating, they won’t be jumping at this price but once they do, you could see a 30-40% bounce in a day. The short interest here is bonkers.

Nice pull back. They originally said they would charge tankers $1.5 Mil a pass, in the grand scheme of things the uplift will be negligible in fuel costs. $1.5 Mil absorbed by 315 Mil litres, less than 0.5%. That will be a good result for aviation. All need now is for Donald to Feck off.

The official short is 15.1% but it is more likely 20% minimum, get the popcorn in, if the mood music is good it is going to be very entertaining.

The maximum free float is 75 Mil shares and this is conservative. Then you have 15 Mil shares shorted, even if only 25% of the shorts make for the door it would be a 7 day cover. The fun will start when it gets to a tenner. We need sustained good news and it is not an exaggeration to state that if the mood music is good and this has a happy outcome, this could potentially be 1400p very very quickly.
