It has risen as interest rates are coming down, markets are forward thinking and 2026 should be a good year for construction and house builders especially. I jumped out as I was hoping for a PE takeover, but if they didn’t fancy it at 11p I can’t see much interest in 16p. Good luck to LTH’s,

@Sandyman: it is actually the opposite, when it was in the 10 and 11’s the SP was too low for a RI, the SP would have to be much higher to fire off a RI. That is the danger with this share, the announcement of the dreaded RI. They could of course trade out of it but on past performance this seems unlikely. They have to find a lot of cash in the coming year and cash raises involves long term

Planning. The last coupon was at a mental rate, so that seems unlikely. I would not want to be a holder here if they announce a RI. The perception from the City could be that Stark knows that it is not salvageable and is jumping a sinking ship.

On a Mobico topic, I remember buying this 5 years ago when it was in the 200p’s thinking it was a great price. I seem to remember Paddyboy being a big fan of them. At this price, it looks interesting, but it looks it may drift lower. What a shame, a once great British Brand when it was National Express. Destroyed by Management, which should have been a growth industry.

@Genk: Market Makers operate right through the FTSE, the 100 included. They provide the book and SETS determines the price. MM’s can buy for stock and do to fill orders, to state individual transactions are not relevant is bonkers.

A million shares being absorbed on a rise is not down to PI’s . If the buy is part of a block there is no requirement to disclose until the full block has been purchased. Definitely accumulation going on.

I will probably try and sit on my hands with this one. Half-year report published on the 17th June, and will go ex dividend on the 19th or 26th. I have a feeling they won’t touch the dividend, which is a cracking yield even at 70p.

That 178k buy had an impact, MM’s may be running low on stock to fill orders. Interesting price action.

I am heavily into this and I have noticed large blocks going through on the Ask, it really depends how much Liontrust want to off-load, if it their desire to reduce significantly the SP is not going anywhere for Weeks.

A good sign, you have to ask, who is selling?

Look forward to in June. Definitely one to hold for a few months. If it stays blue today it will be a great result. That Director buy shows great conviction if you look at his profile he doesn’t have money to lose.
