Whilst true HF14, it’s more complicated than that. If MSC wanted MSAR alone we’d likely be underway already - it’s their primary push for Bio-MSAR that’s also slowed things up. JM clearly stated yesterday they’ve secured glycerine supply now which was previously a huge obstacle - and this should now unblock fuel supply and allow a terminal location to be agreed. JM said he was at a terminal last week and they have now narrowed down options and expect to make progress soon on this front.

Just glad he got a response. I’ve been waiting the best part of 3 months+ for a reply from my last message to them.

Andy has a huge job in turning the culture around at Quadrise, imo. It’s possible though, and on the surface it looks like he could be the right man for the job. He certainly made the right sounds in the first couple of months of his appointment, but saying that I haven’t seen much since. Let’s see.

Im glad to see optimism, but I don’t share it. It’s been over 2 years since the MSC JDA was announced and we still don’t even have a producer lined up. “Discussions with feedstock suppliers continue” as per the most recent update is an insult at this point. My excitement has flatlined.

Hope you’re right Jack. I do imagine the exercise will be MS teams / remote based rather than requiring people physically present which should help us. I’ve been part of Hazops that have lasted 4 hours up to, literally, 2 years. Obviously this will be towards the former end of that spectrum and, hopefully, a largely academic exercise. I just hope there are no significant issues identified as hazops are notorious, and literally designed, to identify such things.

Thanks for sharing. Can’t help but be frustrated we’ve not yet done a HazOp and this is now thrown into the mix. I see absolutely no reason why the HazOp needed these test results before being undertaken and why this couldn’t have already been progressed. No doubt when we finally get all the different MSC stakeholders together for the HazOp (not holding my breath this will be anytime soon) there will be some obscure risk mitigation items identified that then need another X months to put in place ahead of any trial going ahead. Honestly couldn’t make it up.

TA can be useful for liquid shares but hardly good for a share like quadrise which is very much illiquid. The SP has fallen because news was expected but hasn’t yet materialised. Depending what news lands and when it lands, the SP may rise, hopefully significantly. How can TA possibly help in this instance? It’s all about reportable progress.

That’s not certain at all. Conversely I could say fuel supply agreements for MSC will be disclosed imminently as we’ve been led to believe from the BoD which causes the SP explodes (relatively). Don’t see the point in your speculation other than to further the negative sentiment.

Unpopular opinion seemingly - but does this really do anything other than publicly trash the share and add something to the teams plate when they’ve other priorities? There’s obviously a lot going on at the minute, just search for ‘MSC Fuel Trail’ on Google and it’s all quadrise and MSAR. So it’s not like this isn’t happening, and when it does kick off the SP will surely be substantially higher.

The team are aware we aren’t happy with comms. It was discussed at length only a month ago at the agm. Does anyone think if we re-pose the same questions their responses would change? I’d suggest for those that this isn’t acceptable to, do yourselves a favour and sell up rather than living on this board and complaining day in day out, it simply doesn’t achieve anything and won’t make any difference to our likelihood of success.

Honestly Vince it’s probably for a chunky £20/£30k payrise like similar people who’ve been in a position like that since a graduate. Coming from a similar background it’s not uncommon at his stage of career.

Also he, at least to my knowledge, isn’t at the seniority where he’s getting major (if any) share allocations so QFI’s success isn’t directly aligned to his own like it is for more senior members. Just my thoughts.

Is there any intention for the AGM to be live-streamed? Be a shame if not, given how easy that would be to facilitate.

Andy mentioned something interesting yesterday around the alleged Premier Miton sell-off, around II’s possibly having different disclosure rules to the rest of the market.

Does anyone have any more info around that? There’s nothing obvious I’ve found from basic online searches. Thanks in advance.

“The answers to the challenging questions will be very interesting.” - someone says this every year, and there have never been interesting responses, as we already know the answer. The reality is that we’re a small business trying to break into a huge, conservative market. They’ve also said they make their timeline estimates based on what they believe to be realistic and in coordination with clients, but the reality is these are impossible to predict due to all the moving parts for which QFI have no control over.

Of course I don’t know for sure, but logically I would presume that most investors would not be selling on such significant news which many were waiting for, at least until the price had increased.

Such aggressive selling at a low price after positive news shows all the signs of a distressed seller, and to my mind it would be highly coincidental for it to be a number of smaller sellers rather than a large seller we already know to be offloading. Just my opinion.

Haggis, well they definitely didn’t report per percentage point did they - as per their previous tr1 they went from 9% ownership straight to 5%? That selling will have taken weeks at the volumes seen over that period.

That’s what I’m suggesting Monsoon. If so, then it could still very much could be Miton doing the bulk of the selling. If anyone knows for sure would appreciate the clarification. Thanks
