Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
"unless it is regulated news" ie news that requires an RNS will be issued, they just won't comment on what's in the presentation ie there's nothing in the presentation that isn't already known, that's different to saying there will be no new news, anything material requiring an RNS will be announced...
Dodge, if there is anything material such as sales or regulatory approvals this will be announced, they have to be. Just because the Company has issued a date for the presentation does not put the Company into a radio silence. Your statement has to be an opinion that nothing material will happen, but 24 days is a long time, its therefore not a fact, simply an opinion...
I think the fall is just the uneducated market responding to the 'life back to normal buy summer' mentality so no testing required, but it fails to recognise the virus is so well distributed that mutations will more likely than not create waves of new variants, testing is not going a way. LFD not sensitive enough, molecular testing the only option, Genedrive lab and POC tests are going to come into their own shortly. We can expect the POC IVD approvals in the coming weeks, Beckman lined up to distribute that in the US perhaps too? A lot more to come here shortly, and Beckman sales...
Grim, the only proviso to this is that I have seen the test described in the formal document back to the patient if the test is done by a private provider, not the case I know in the UK but could be the case in the US. May not be clear cut
We should see a POC update this week or next week, that will be the CE-IVD approvals for sale in the EU and possible hear about an EUA for that product in the US. That will be another huge tick, particularly if Beckman are also the reseller to the market for that product too.... LTHs, this is going to be a good year for us!!
Also, installed machines can’t stop running and have no test kits to run, pretty much guaranteed income when a robot is bought and the genedrive test run on it. BC won’t just place 35 machines world wide, they’ll be placing 100s

the reason why testing is here to stay, as fast as we can develop new vaccines, new variants will arrive that overcome these, it will be a long term test / develop / vaccinate effort over the coming years before we start to get on top of this pandemic
$24,000 for 10x 96 samples - that's $24 per sample and you can only buy $24,000 a time, that should give some indication of value here! This is going to be huge. So much so I think Genedrive will end up having to pay out a hefty dividend next year if they are not acquired. Looking really good everyone!!!
I think it means that from mid February, following commercial and technical training of the Beckman sale and support organisations, the Companies are planning the commercial introduction of the Genedrive kit
Longtermer, but remember Cytiva are doing the manufacturing and likely the logistics to supply Beckman, at these scales it would not make sense to use GDR as the centre for distribution.... Cytiva already distribute world wide, I think DB is a genius in the way this has been constructed. Patience indeed, but the cogs are in place to churn these efficiently
At £3m--£4m profit for Genedrive with each Biomek installed to run GDR tests, it won't be long before its obvious that the current market cap doesn't reflect the sales volumes, also the fact the covid will be here for many years with variants and a vaccine that doesn't stop spread and therefore the emergence of new variants, the testing opportunity will become consistent sales on which to multiple 5x to get to a market cap.
Do the math, 100 units is £400m in profit, 5x multiple?
