Actually next generation sequencing is the best way to track variants but the turnaround time is a week. No reason why you couldn't design the pathway to send a sample off for NGS if you have a positive LFT

JHolder I'll probably give my head a wobble over the weekend. People have invested seriously in this company and expect professional communication.

If I was a technical purchaser evaluating products and saw the tweets recently I would probably be put off.

One thing is for sure. The communication is doing my f*cking head in now. I've got sell orders in for now and will decide before 8am Monday whether they are being cancelled or not.

I've spent hours on this forum explaining the technicals of the product and the regulatory complexity and annoyed by the childishness of last night's tweets.

I think this is the highest volume day I've seen since following this share. No matter what happens theres many, many eyes on this.

As an ODX holder and admirer of AVCT from afar (mostly for the personalised medicine arm) i can say that animosity has been spiked on both boards by visitors from the other.

I also tend to post on the ODX board purely objectively from my experience of working in the In Vitro Diagnostic industry and have received abuse on many an occasion when what im saying has favoured Mologic in the race. This has happened even when i state that i believe there will be multiple "sovereign tests" of which AVCT will be a member (my opinion is Mologic first to market)

I remain perplexed by the path the AffiDx has taken to get to where it is but will happily agree the CV results are good (although will point out that we should be stating 95% confidence intervals to assess performance rather than headline figure) once all the ducks are in a row regarding technical documentation and CE marking with mologics support/ approval of avactas ISO14385 QMS im sure the product will be a goer.

I like AVCT and want all British Biotech companies to do well (obviously im biased here) hopefully this rivalry can die down once newsflow starts occurring. Im sure the companies themselves find it laughable.

SouthernCross the sample sizes contained within clinical evaluations done by Mologic or Avacta are not large enough to be supportive of a headline senitivity/specificity result. 100% may look impressive on paper but what we really should use to assess the statistical performance of the test are the 95% confidence intervals or even better PPA/PPV.

For me Mologic has the edge at the moment because they now have 2 documented clinical evaluations with the latest having been conducted by FIND who are recognised as a highly reputable organisation worldwide.

It's acceptable to relabel product with a longer expiry once you have stability data to back up the claim btw

Sounds like an initial shelf life while they do a real time stability study in the background
