Morning all… hope everyone had a good Christmas…
Am I right thinking that today is d-day in terms of the JV going ahead or not?
Pushed this to the bottom drawer from pride of place a few years ago… ??… just trying to figure out what exactly is happening. Not the most clear of RNSs, for me at least.
Crossing fingers.
To be fair, the 6th Dec update continued to share way more details than were ever laid out before... and I have no reason to believe we won't continue to get further updates. Ramping up output clearly can't happen overnight but at least the current BOD are on the case - at a detailed level - and larger investors are supportive.
Crossing fingers. Maybe we'll get a final update for Christmas?!
That's pretty encouraging!
RAB capital increased their stake to 12.57%...
Maybe as it said the main topic was selling the main asset... ? To me that doesn't read like we are the ones in the driving seat... Would like to be wrong as very underwater on this one....
Still haven’t given up hope.
That fund raise came a little earlier it seems!
Updated Mineral Resource Estimate - Indicated Resource increase and substantial grade increase for Toral Pb, Zn & Ag Project, Spain
Europa Metals, the European focused lead, zinc and silver developer, is pleased to announce, following its highly successful 2022 drilling campaign, a 19% increase to the Indicated Mineral resource and a 14% increase in grade, in respect of an updated independent Mineral Resource Estimate ("MRE") for the Company's 100% owned Toral Pb, Zn & Ag project ("Toral" or the "Toral Project") in the Castilla y León region, northern Spain.
Highlights:
Updated independent Indicated and Inferred resource estimates reported by Addison Mining Services Limited ("AMS"), in accordance with JORC (2012) comprise:
· An Indicated Mineral Resource of approximately 7Mt @ 8.1% Zn Equivalent (including Pb credits), 5% Zn, 3.7% Pb and 29g/t Ag, containing:
o 349,000 tonnes of zinc, 260,000 tonnes of lead and 6.6 million ounces of silver.
· An Inferred Mineral Resource of approximately 13Mt @ 6% Zn Equivalent (including Pb credits), 4.1% Zn, 2.3% Pb and 19 g/t Ag, containing:
o 540,000 tonnes of zinc, 300,000 tonnes of lead and 8 million ounces of silver.
· A total Mineral Resource of approximately 20Mt @ 6.8% Zn Equivalent (including Pb credits), 4.4% Zn, 2.8% Pb and 23 g/t Ag, containing:
o 890,000 tonnes of zinc, 560,000 tonnes of lead and 15 million ounces of silver.
· A total of 61,545m of drilling is now included in the drillhole database for the Toral Project. This includes environmental monitoring drillholes, 174 diamond drillholes (including wedges) and 4 reverse circulation (RC) drillholes.
The Board of Europa Metals believes that the results of this latest update compare very favourably with the Company's previously reported Mineral Resource Estimate, announced on 1 October 2021, as it represents a:
· 19% increase in Indicated Mineral Resource tonnes;
· 39% increase in Indicated contained tonnes of zinc to approximately 349,000 tonnes;
· 33% increase in Indicated contained tonnes of lead to approximately 260,000 tonnes; and
· 27% increase in Indicated contained ounces of silver to approximately 6.6 million ounces.
I think they will switch to calendar month / quarter reporting, versus Nth to Nth day.
This is how it works on AIM:.
1. Wait for bus
2. Wait longer for bus
3. Wait even longer bus.
4. See taxi and decide "*&^^$% it".
5. Taxi pulls over and you hop in.
6. Bus turns up just as you've set off.
7. And overtakes you in the traffic.
:)))
Getting another excavator will surely be possible once we get some cash coming in... better than needing a new washer!
Great RNS. Even if I had to read it twice :)))
Great that we are getting detailed updates and not the old 3 lines of empty promises.
Again, full confidence in the new BOD.
FIRST LIGHT Europa Metals (EUZ) – Corporate – Highest grade drill intercept by Europa at Toral Market Cap £2.5m Share Price 3.1p Europa, the 100% owner of the Toral zinc-lead project in Northern Spain, today reports its highest ever assay from drillhole TOD-042 with 5.25m grading 17.9% zinc (Zn), 4.5% lead (Pb) and 56g/t silver (Ag) which is an overall grade of 23.2% zinc equivalent (ZnEq*) from 866m. Included in this was a higher-grade portion of 2.50m grading 36.8%Zn, 5.8%Pb and 101g/t Ag for 44.6% ZnEq*. This follows on from the reporting of TOD-041 in the RNS on 05.09.2022 of 3.2m grading 9.4% zinc, 5.1% lead and 48g/t silver from a depth of 799m which equates to 15.2% ZnEq*. These are some very high grade intercepts and over substantial, bulk mineable widths in our opinion. Europa states that “the two holes (TOD-041 and TOD-042) taken in conjunction with nearby previous drilling provide both support and confidence to our current resource model and the continuity of the high grade nature of the deposit at depth” and we agree with this sentiment; Toral has yet to be drilled to its fullest extent and the high-grade areas of the mineralisation appear to increase with depth. Toral is already a significant orebody with a tangible resource which we expect to only grow further. WHI View: Today’s news just confirms once again that the large Toral project could get bigger and higher grade. We continue to see fair value at 11.7p/sh, with today’s news confirming our understanding that Toral is a robust resource and one that it is conservatively priced against its European peers. Today’s result certainly sets the scene for the due diligence between Europa and Denarius Metal Corp (TSXV:DSLV, No Rec) for a staged farm-in for it to acquire up to 80% of the Toral zinc-lead (Zn-Pb) project in NW Spain for $6m (announced 05.10.2022).
SoaS - would agree if the company was still being run by the previous crowd, but it's not, and so far the new BOD have done more in a few months of being at the helm than their predecessors managed in many years.
Let's see... :)
