The amount proposed to be invested wasn't large. Am assuming the sale value was equally unappealing otherwise we might have done so... caveated by the fact that if we had done so more than 6 months ago we would now be in a hole!

Hoping our luck is about to turn. Value in the ground at Kabwe versus current MC coupled by small number of shares out there does point to a high reward possibility...

Time will tell.

We can't offload Rukwa before Kabwe closes. We need an asset.

Agreed that it's taking time and that it's painful to see the price drop steadily... but if you're comfortable that this isn't a lifestyle company (and I am, now, with the old lot out), then buying at these levels is too tempting.

Let's see whether the "bet" pays off!

The main churn is from Friday's 3.5m sell.

Today you can see a number of sells of amounts that were bought just after news, no doubt expecting a good rise which never came... I think it's the 3.5m that is still holding it back. Hopefully not long to clear though....

They've done a pretty good job of consistently making the worst decisions for shareholders. Can't imagine they are going to change now. £25k gone for me. Live and learn....

So they are paying themselves in new shares… well that’s not as bad as cashing in the others…

At first I thought you were joking... however this does seem quite a plausible scenario.

Oddly enough, though, they will take my entire holding in one swoop (admittedly it's not worth much these days) but possibly telling that there could be a glimmer of hope?

Ruined the company through sheer incompetence selling the only asset we actually had with nothing to fall back on. Now they will spend the remaining assets paying back old salaries no doubt. 30k gone for me overall.

Hoping whoever is buying is in the know... !! Haven't dared play chase-the-drop on this one. yet.

I do wonder if Deutche Balaton still have their 18.87%...
