The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
If that is what really matters to you, then you need to sell. The project was never about day trading or value of an unproven penny stock. If you were sold that bill of goods, then you were misled and lost. Most of us look at the end value given a proven commercial find. Focusing on your opinion of management, or your lack of clarity and understanding due to "FOG", is a waste of good time.
Spot on perfect Eaglerbf!!! Biden and his partners in crime have no skin in the game, so why care if they make us all take a knee to their bull$hit policies. "Let them eat cake"......
Bcfullofgas....you validate my point. My ars is fine...sell, ***** more, or grow some balls.
10 years at 10% per year?.....or we sell at a buck or two a share upon commercial proof? I say the latter. Math lives matter.....lol. Most deeply buried up to our neck in Falcon shares, are very optimistic. A few of you day trading for pennies whiners exist only for the chance to complain. Get over it.
BC...I chuckle. Calling out management, "critical input" or what you consider 10 years of BS, holds no feet to any fire. This is chat forum...not a boardroom. If you can't stomach the risk and under performance, then why not call each board member directly or speak your mind directly at the annual shareholders meeting. On a chat forum, we call your words constant bitc*ing. We are ALL frustrated, tired of delays, and lack of communication from POQ. That said, many of us are also tired of the whining. This is a high risk stock....grow the balls, or sell.
BC...."critical input" most of us accept. In fact we welcome the information. Whining about a stock price and management you can't control, is not productive. Add value to the conversation. Bitc$ing creates nothing but more bitc$ing. Sell or accept reality.
Then rid yourself of the pain, and sell all your shares.....I will gladly pick up what you dump.
IMO....."long time holders" would be stupid to sell and leave. Having already ridden out several setbacks to get to this point, leaving now makes zero sense. Too close to be trigger happy.
Why would you sell on today's news?
lololol...........post of the year!
I returned my proxy with a no-confidence message for POQ. He has not earned his keep. I am one voice in Florida, but do I really matter? For over a decade, I have ALWAYS remained positive (not easy given our challenges) in the Falcon opportunity. I personally met with the oil industry experts brought forth to describe this potential find in Australia. It was never a quick buck opportunity, but always discussed as a almost given windfall given all the data. POQ was supposed to be the man, the deal maker, the answer to our marketing concerns. So what happened? For the first time ever, I have considered just selling my shares and moving my money elsewhere. I am not an oil industry expert, someone with a natural gas background, or have the real expertise that many of you on this site have. So..........please give me some REAL advise. Should I stay or should I go? A fool to wait, or a fool to sell? Time is not working against me, and I don't need the cash. I just have finally given up. What do you really think? -
So......we have almost a billion shares outstanding. Was today's news really tragic, or just another Chicken Little sky is falling moment for a few on this board? Nope.......selling and buying took place as expected. Down 7-9% in all markets traded on. Volume traded was nothing compared to total shares outstanding. I purchased more in the US, because at a little over a dime. The potential hasn't changed, and the operational challenges will be overcome. The upside to Falcon, is the end result will be a buck or two a share. I can wait.
So you can sell your shares. Many if not most of us owning shares, look to an end result. 30 cents a share? No way.....a buck a share minimum will happen. Stay in or get out.
The end result has always been the potential Falcon prize. The asset hasn't changed, and those that can't wait simply won't. I will continue to purchase more. We all see any investment thru our own lense.
Nothing new or surprising. This was already reported. More work to do.
Thank you......It has been so damn long ago, I honestly would have to look back at my first purchase of FOLGF. I had an opportunity to meet with Bruner and his son at an event in late 2009, and that was the catalyst for my buying spree over the next year or so. At the time we met, Mako and Beetaloo were both being pushed. I guess my point is I gave up trying to understand or work around our many leaders and their communication mistakes. I always have tried to see the potential for Falcon after the Beetaloo potential was proven. I still wait....and am still very optimistic. I always saw this as a stock with a final sale price of a buck or two. Will we be that lucky? Is the arrogance of POQ, because he already has a good sense at our value once proven up? Is he just lazy, or smart as a fox?
I cannot change how leadership communicates with us. I can rant on this message board (which I have done)....make a phone call direct to POQ (which I have done)....sent private correspondence in writing to leadership (which I have done). All asking to communicate in a very open and transparent way. He refuses......So I look back at the reason I invested in Falcon in 2009. My goal then was the same as today. Develop the asset to a point at which it can be sold. Focus on the communication inconvenience (get ****ed, and frustrated at what I cannot control), or focus on the end result. I prefer the end result.
I have been a significant share holder since 2009. The rise, fall, do nothing when it should, do something when it shouldn't stock price for Falcon, has never meant much to me. What matters is the agreed upon share price when we sell. That is the potential windfall I have always expected, and still do. Our leadership sucks at communicating, but I believe will prove his worth in the end. So I patiently wait.....it happens or it doesn't. This was always a high risk investment.
I have supported POQ in the past, but can no longer. What did he accomplish with this announcement?......confusion. Why didn't he make it more clear to investors what really happened? Is he incompetent, or just could care less about his investors? It is as if share price is an after thought to him. Really ****ed at the handling of this.
Trump produces. We have to wait on POQ.
