Forgive my ignorance but we wouldn’t know if there is a bidding war although I suspect behind the scenes there will be. We will only know the best price that the BOD accepts or have I missed something.

For me the $5B share offering is probably to build more giga factories and more than likely it was a suggestion by the S&P 500 committee so they could be included in the index (funds that track the index will have to buy their shares). I’m in Tesla and that’s the talk currently going on on Yahoo’s chat board along with ramping up production. However Tesla’s battery day is due this month and talk is of a higher density battery (longer range, smaller battery) and they have developed a game changer.

For me I will take the speculation about Trumps announcement with a pinch of salt. He’s probably come to the conclusion that drinking dettol or cllitbang is a winner (seriously don’t not do this). If SNG is proven as we all hope it will be, Boris would be championing this as an U.K. developed treatment. Why let Trump take our glory.

After selling a stock that hasn’t done anything for years, pulled out and did my final top up on here. Like many I would like to thank the contributors on this board with there insightful and well research comments along with and of course doing my own DD.

The phrase ‘wait until the yanks wake up’ always amuses and in a way frustrates me when I see it. Some posters actually think US ii will be forced to wait until their exchange opens before they can buy stocks traded on the London exchanges. All I can say is wise up!
