What a surprise there a few “new” posters on here tonight. Some more experts that don’t actually know what they are talking about and clearly haven’t read RNSs in regards TR1 holders. I love how they seem to ignore the fact that both a HNWI and II have gone notififiable only recently. But are happy to point out when an other is selling. Don’t I tell thee, dooooommmmm!!!!! Zzzzzz, they’ll be gone next week and we’ll have to deal with a few more aliases.
Too late. Your comment was taken very seriously and is being looked into. Remember your posting history can be seen, it’s clear you have an agenda. But bringing flybe’s safety standards into question, is by the sounds of things, a step to far. Good luck - you might need it.
I have reported your posts directly to my colleagues at Flybe. Just putting a ? Or DYOR at the end of a comment or post is not sufficient to avoid liability.
“I guess like all businesses its is down to the quality of the Board and the Management.” Yup. Successive management making stupid decisions and getting paid very handsomely for doing so. All the while ignoring the guys and girls on the ground that actually know what they're talking about. This whole monarch debacle is the perfect example. Flybe had some very good, experience engineers in BHX and MAN they were tupe’d over to Monarch in some stupid deal that only made sense to those who signed it :-/ most of those guys moved on due to outrageously poor working conditions (i.e management AGAIN) and now those few good ones that are left are being shifted back to Flybe. Pointless exercise and a waste of money, experience and good will. The ludicrous E195 lease deal. The stupidly large E175 order. The constant reshuffle of senior management. The wastage in taxiing crew all over the UK. I could go on :-( But. As I have said before, my money is in for Virgin/AF/KLM taking over and making this really work for all parties. Good weekend all.
Spread is ridiculous to deter buyers.
Looks like an oversight here that MOD have not issued any shares on listing.
There are no shares on the LSE, all MODs shares are held by ASX shareholders. The way ASX works is trades are matched - there are no market makers. So, because no one has any LSE held MOD shares (unless they have been transferred) the market makers cannot get any to sell, therefore they need to deter buyers - hence massive spread.
Any buys will then be collected over night on MOD, see premium on price here and also the small uptick on MOD-ASX.
AIMO.
I think what's being missed here is the bigger picture. IMO..
MOD will be bought out, they have to say they are going through to production but they won't. What that will mean is MTR will take the windfall and THAT cash will provide the capital to continue its share of the now expanded JV exploration which will now be with a mid/major company. Plus a hell of a lot left over...
Yes they could have kept their share of T3, but remember MTR are not miners we are an investment company. Also there would have been the need for considerable dilution to fund our 30% share. Just look how much everyone cries when £6m was raised. Imagine raising £25m....
Share price is shite. Really shite. But that does not detract from that bigger picture. MTR have plenty of funds, it is now down to MOD to get the newsflow up and running now that the LSE listing is done.
I can think of worse problems to have!!! And yes, I recall you saying your weren't happy ;-)
Its down to what you think and what you know.
I know Flybe are struggling. I also know that they are in the process of turning things round. I know they have a variety of assets. I know they have very valuable slots at several airports. We all know they are up for sale and that they are in discussions with numerous parties.
I think a deal will be done and Virgin/AF/KLM will be the winner. I also think if they cannot come to a deal then Flybe and will sort themselves out.
I have a personal interest outside financials in Flybe and have been posting on this BB on and off for several years, always looking to take a position. Because under the right management, with some prudent decision making and a bit of dead wood clearing, this is a very viable business with little to no competition.
Its just being traded in the trend either side of 20p so taking there 5-10% each time. Good luck to them. Personally i think unless you doing this with £10K+ its pointless and then you are risking being out. Each to their own.
Un-informed journalism. I would class it as a deliberately misleading article to aid in the acquisition of an asset. Very telling IMO, note the “journalist” also quotes “after I reported that Virgin Atlantic was in talks to buy the regional airline” hmmm..... Corrupt. This has been in the pipeline for some months IMO to many things add up for them to be pure chance.
Guys/girls if you are going to combat these stupid posts do it. But don’t post silly one word replies, it blocks the BB which is exactly the intention.
Ok. Have you read the trading update? Have you read the recent RNS in regards fund raises? Have you read the BoD statement about working capital? Have you read the news? What is the current poo? Answer those questions and I will answer yet more disegenious negative loaded questions - classic paid basher tactic.
An early entry from laidback for the dumbest post of the day. Well done.
Lee talking shite like usual. Where did you go last time the price went up? Moved onto the next company to bash as per bosses instructions. Sprott added on market don’t forget that. That’s not what RR said in his interview at all. MTR/MOD are the only copper company I am buying and have a potentially spectacular discovery. I expect I’ll have to keep reading your disengenious drivel until you are told to move on. Yawn.
Now that it is public knowledge about MAEL/Flybe ceasing ties i can express my opinion.
Flybe were paying monarch A LOT of money to carry out the maintenance on the flybe fleet. For those that know the industry, out sourcing maintenance at outstations (INV, DSA, CWL, ABZ) where there are only a few based aircraft makes good sense. Outsourcing it at your main bases does not.
This move to go back to having Flybe maintain their own aircraft as these places is a good decision IMO (reversing the stupidity of previous management)
This is not something that had just happened. I firmly believe this has been in process for sometime on the back of some private discussions between the higher powers.
I think Virgin will win this battle and it will be driven my AF/KLM (remember COW has serious connections at AF) BA/IAG have just got involved to make life difficult.
Form the BMI sale we know Virgin offered far to low and missed out....
How many employees do you know? Have spoke to??
An ideal world for greedy shareholders yes.
There are thousands employed by Flybe. In an ideal world the company would be taken over and a half decent management team would be installed.

Just bought London to Manchester open day return. £338. That’s a national disgrace @VirginTrains
It is about market cap B, which is currently sitting at £50m.
Best to decide for yourself what you think a potential bid could be..
Flybe put themselves in the shop window and they will make a loss this full financial year. Debt has increased and cash has also dropped. Cost cutting and fleet reduction however is continuing so that will soon start to have an impact.
There is however plenty of value for any suitors in various different forms.
I personally think the BoD and large holders won't accept anything less than 40-50p, which would result in an offer of £80m-£100m. That is good value IMO for what they will be getting.
If all three parties are intent on getting their prize (or stopping the other bidder) then who knows.
I would be surprised if the SP moves up much further now without a leak of some kind tho. It has already had a considerable rise and people will be nervous of getting spiked, rightly so.
ATB.
IMO you are K. Classic example of passive aggresive style. Ask negative loses questions and lots of them... I can think of at least three other “posters” on LSE that do the same thing ;—) Knowone can be SURE they will be taken over. But there are numerous parties involved. Both FACTS. Flybe won’t be going bust anytime soon - see my post to gray bird. There are three bidders. If they walk away then they are giving up and letting the others have an easier battle. If you are BA/IAG do you want Virgin/AF/KLM having it all their own way?? If a company but a bid in the price will rocket toward the bid, probably 10% or so less. What’s the bid going to be?? Knowones knows.. I feel personally a lot higher than the current market cap. The Stobart bid was not Chinese whispers. Stupid comment. If a bid is made the BoD will consider it (probably major IIs will be involved) if they deem it acceptable it will be announced to shareholders who will vote. Remember IIs hold a lot of shares - see the 8.3 forms via RNS.
Good honest post MV. Normally I would 100% agree with you, based on the simple fact plenty have bought in low. However plenty have not, including BoD and IIs. Additionally the “end game” appears to be the sale of the company. For that reason I don’t think anyone can really say where this is going to end up as it’s down to the bidders, how much they want it (Stobart/virgin) and how much they want to stop the other (IAG/virgin)
